Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes have a delicious crispy skin, while being soft and fluffy on the inside. They cook quickly and can be made ahead for meal prep.

Using the Air fryer to make these sweet potatoes is super simple! No Air Fryer, no problem! I will give baking directions below as well. These sweet potatoes are healthy and majorly delicious much like Air Fryer Baked Potatoes, Air Fryer Roasted Broccoli or Air Fryer Avocado Fries.

Serve these sweet potatoes alongside Air Fryer Salmon, Chicken Parmesan, Beef Chili Recipe or Air Fryer Turkey Breast for the perfect balanced meal!

How to make Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes:

  • I suggest using medium sized sweet potatoes in the Air fryer.
  • Prep the sweet potatoes by washing the skin free of any dirt and then poke holes in the potatoes with a fork. Drizzle olive oil and salt over the sweet potatoes, then rub the oil all over the potatoes.
  • Place the sweet potatoes into the Air fryer. Set the air fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit and 35 minutes. After 25 minutes open the Air Fryer and carefully (using tongs) flip the potatoes over. Cook the remaining 10 minutes. If your potatoes are larger, you may need more time. Check if they are fork tender, if not, cook for 3 minute increments until tender. 
  • Remove carefully and serve with your favorite toppings!

How to BAKE Sweet Potatoes:

  • Use the same directions in terms of prepping the sweet potatoes.
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Add oil and salt to the potatoes, then rub all over.
  • Place them on a baking sheet and place them into the preheated oven. Cook for 40 minutes and check if they are fork tender. Depending on the size, you may need to bake 10-15 more minutes.

Using these potatoes and then stuffing them with filling is a great option as well. I LOVE these Southwestern Stuffed Sweet Potatoes!

Using the air fryer to make frozen tater tots is a no-brainer. It takes hardly any time compared to cooking them in the oven, they turn out incredibly crispy, and there is no frying involved! It’s super simple and once you try it, you will NEVER cook them any other way! You know making French Fries in the air fryer is also SUPER EASY! Serve them alongside your Air Fryer Hamburgers, Air Fryer Hot Dogs , or Air Fryer Bagel Bites for the perfect quick meal! Add Copycat Chick-fil-A sauce or Copycat Zaxby’s Sauce for the perfect dip!

How to Make Frozen Tater Tots in the Air Fryer:

Making Air fryer tots is SUPER easy! Here’s how:

  • If using the whole bag, I like to spray some oil in the bag using my oil sprayer, then add salt, seasoning salt, or cajun seasoning for a kick! Then pour into air fryer basket.

  • If using a portion of the bag, add them to the air fryer basket and spray with oil and sprinkle salt into the basket on top of the tater tots.

  • Close the air fryer basket and set the air fryer to 400 degrees and cook for 8 minutes. Open the basket and shake the tots. Close the air fryer then set for 3-4 more minutes.
    • Check doneness at this point, if more time is needed add 1-2 more minutes (various brands will differ in cooking time).
    • I do NOT pre-heat my air fryer, but if you do, you may need to subtract 1-2 minutes from the cooking time.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce such as Copycat Chick-fil-A sauce or Copycat Zaxby’s Sauce! YUM!
  • Take this a step further and make Air Fryer Cheese Fries (with tots instead - so yum)!

Serve it alongside Air Fryer Roasted Broccoli or Air Fryer Kale Chips for a balanced low-carb meal! Make it in bulk and eat it all week; this healthy lunch will be a go-to weekday meal!

How to Make KETO Egg Salad Lettuce Wraps:

  • Make the hard boiled eggs. Try this Instant Pot or Air Fryer Method. Otherwise, make them on a stovetop with boiling water. Peel the hard boiled eggs and coarsely chop them.
  • In a bowl, add mayonnaise, dijon mustard, chopped celery, chopped green onions, paprika, salt, pepper, and fresh dill. Mix everything well.

  • Add the chopped eggs to the mixture, and then fold to combine. Don’t mix too roughly or the eggs will completely fall apart.
  • Place in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Serve keto egg salad with lettuce wraps/cups.

How to serve Egg Salad (low carb style):

  • Eat egg salad with a fork and enjoy!
  • Spoon into lettuce wraps for KETO/Low-carb option. Romaine lettuce or bib lettuce work best for lettuce wraps.
  • Serve it alongside Air Fryer Hot Dogs (no bun if you are sticking to low carb), Air Fryer Broccoli, Air Fryer Cauliflower, or some Kale Chips!

What can I add to Keto egg salad?

There are lots of options on what to add to the classic recipe. Here are some of the most popular additions to the classic recipe: Bacon, chopped onions, olives, green or red peppers, relish or pickles, capers, pickle juice, or spice it up with some hot or buffalo sauce!

How to lighten it up:

  • Instead of using all mayonnaise, you can substitute all or part of the mayo for plain non-fat Greek yogurt. This will cut down on the fat and calories while also boosting the protein.
    • The taste will change slightly if using all greek yogurt, so I recommend using half mayo and half Greek yogurt.
  • Instead of using mayo, use a mixture of Greek yogurt and avocado. This will also lower the fat and calories, and increase the ‘good fats’.

  • Lastly, an easier way to lighten it up is to use low-fat mayonnaise in place of full fat mayonnaise.

Making hamburgers has never been easier than with the Air Fryer! Juicy every time, and done in less than 15 minutes with none of the mess!

The Air fryer is a game changer when it comes to cooking many things, including hamburgers! They cook in hardly any time, make very little mess, and are cooked to perfection every time! Pair these burgers with Air Fryer Frozen French Fries, Air Fryer Corn on the Cob, Ranch Pickles, Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks or Copycat Panera’s Mac and Cheese. So easy to make this delicious creamy pesto pasta salad for the perfect meal!

Let's talk about how to cook the hamburgers in the air fryer- it's easy! I will also include a step-by-step video if you scroll all the way down (above the recipe card).

How to cook Air Fryer Hamburgers:

  • Start by prepping the hamburgers: mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
    • This is optional and you can use regular pre-made patties as well.
  • Form the beef into 4 equal patties, and press a slight indentation into the center (this will prevent them from getting larger in the center of the burger while cooking).
  • Place the hamburger patties into the basket of the Air fryer. Close the air fryer and set it to 380 degrees, and 5 minutes. After the time is up, carefully flip the burgers over. Close and set for 3-5 more minutes. Check doneness after 3 minutes, and add more time as desired.
  • Burgers should have an internal temperature of 160 degrees when cooked fully. I like this digital meat thermometer to check the temperature.
  • If adding cheese, add the slice of cheese and close the air fryer. Do not add more time, just let them sit for 30 seconds to 1 minute in the air fryer (the left over heat will melt the cheese).

Are Hamburgers healthier in the air fryer? YES!

  • Using the air fryer to make hamburgers is great because it saves time, and the air fryer helps drain off the grease while cooking which saves fat and calories.
  • When using 95% lean ground beef , these burgers have 136 calories, 4g fat, 1g carb, and 21g protein. Also account for the nutritional information of whatever you serve the burgers on (such as bun) and the toppings.
  • Keep these air fryer hamburgers low carb by serving 'no-bun' burgers and place them in a lettuce wrap or low carb tortilla!
  • Feel like a salad? Chop this burger up and add it to a Low Carb Big Mac Salad!

  • Add the already cooked burgers to the air fryer. Set to 350 degrees and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until heated through.

  • Place the frozen patties into the Air fryer. Set the temperature to 400 degrees and cook for 8 minutes. Flip the hamburger patties over and then cook for *5-7 more minutes. Check that internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
  • **Cooking time will vary based off Air Fryer model and thickness of hamburgers.

Making hamburgers has never been easier than with the Air Fryer! Juicy every time, and done in less than 15 minutes with none of the mess!

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
For topping (optional):
  • hamburger buns
  • lettuce
  • tomatoes
  • onions

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, add the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well using your hands to work everything together.

  2. Form the beef into 4 equal patties, and press a slight indentation into the center (this will prevent them from getting larger in the center of the burger while cooking).

  3. Place the hamburgers into the Air Fryer basket. Close and set to 380 degrees, and 5 minutes. After the time is up, carefully flip the burgers over. Close and set for 3-5 more minutes. Check doneness after 3 minutes, and add more time as desired. Internal temperature will read 160 degrees F when fully cooked.

  4. If adding cheese, add the slice of cheese and close the air fryer. Do not add more time, just let them sit for 30 seconds to 1 minute in the air fryer (the left over heat will melt the cheese).

  5. Add desired toppings and serve immediately.

Using the air fryer to make frozen french fries is a no-brainer. It takes hardly any time compared to cooking them in the oven, they turn out incredibly crispy, and there is no frying involved! How to Make Frozen French Fries in the Air Fryer:

  • Pick out the type of frozen fries to use: waffle fries, french fries, steak fries, tater tots...all will work in the air fryer.
  • If using the whole bag, I like to spray some oil in the bag using my oil sprayer, then add salt, seasoning salt, or cajun seasoning for a kick! Then pour into air fryer basket.
  • If using a portion of the bag, add them to the air fryer basket and spray with oil and sprinkle salt into the basket on top of the fries.

  • Close the air fryer basket and set the air fryer to 400 degrees and cook for 8 minutes. Open the basket and shake the fries. Close the air fryer then set for 3 more minutes.
    • Check doneness at this point, if more time is needed add 1-2 more minutes (various brands will differ in cooking time).
    • I do NOT pre-heat my air fryer, but if you do, you may need to subtract 1-2 minutes from the cooking time.

Chick-fil-A is one of the largest fast food chains in the United States, and their recipes all are highly coveted. My favorite item at Chick-fil-A is their Chick-fil-A sauce and waffle fries; it's the perfect combination.

Use this sauce to dip Copycat Chick-fil-A nuggets, french fries, asparagus fries, air fryer fried pickles, Air Fryer Sweet Potato fries, Air Fryer French Fries, or curly fries; or spread it on top of an air fryer hamburger! You just can't go wrong with this delicious sauce!

There are tons of copycat recipes out there for this sauce, but I found putting the basic ingredients together, and then tweaking them a bit to produce the most authentic copycat Chick-fil-A sauce. The best part is, it's likely you already have all the ingredients in your fridge or pantry! It really goes perfectly with thee Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets (Chick-fil-A Copycat) or Air Fryer Chicken Tenders.   • Get all the ingredients together - Mayo, honey, mustard, BBQ sauce, and lemon juice - that's it (scroll down for exact measurements)

  • Whisk everything in a bowl until completely combined and there are no clumps. Make sure to scrape the bottom and sides to incorporate all the honey.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (even better over night) to thicken the Chick-fil-A Sauce, and let all the ingredients meld together.
  • Serve with your favorite dippers such as french fries, air fryer green bean fries, Zesty Chicken Tenders, or Walnut Honey Mustard Chicken Strips.

  • Pour sauce into a mason jar or salad dressing dressing bottle where the top can be sealed. Keep in refrigerator.
  • For the freshest tasting sauce, use within 14 days of making.

How to lighten up Chick-fil-A Sauce:

While this sauce is delicious, it is not diet friendly. To decrease calories and fat, replace whole fat mayonnaise for low fat mayonnaise and you won't be able to taste a difference. This will cut the calories in half (37 calories instead of 76 calories) and reduce the fat content drastically (2g fat compared to 7g fat).

If you like turkey club sandwiches, you are going to LOVE these Turkey Club Avocado Egg Rolls. They are super easy to make and so delicious! Stacked with turkey breast, Swiss cheese, juicy tomatoes, and creamy avocado, then topped with a special sauce. They are a perfect appetizer or meal.

Turkey Club Egg Roll Ingredients

How to make Turkey Club Egg Rolls:

  • Make sure you prep all the ingredients before you start making the egg rolls; think assembly line.
  • Making one at a time, smear some sauce in the middle of the egg roll wrapper, top with one slice of Turkey Breast, bacon, tomato, avocado, and cheese.
  • Carefully wrap the egg roll, making sure to keep it tight so the ingredients don’t fall out (see more specific wrapping directions below). Rub water on the final corner of the egg roll, and press to seal the wrapper.

To Deep fry egg rolls:

  • Heat oil in a large heavy bottom skillet. Once the oil is heated up (about 5 minutes on medium heat), add turkey club egg rolls to the oil, leaving room around them (probably will need to do 2 batches). After the first side has browned (3-4 minutes), carefully turn over and cook 1-2 minutes on the second side. This side will cook faster so keep an eye on it.
  • Once all of the egg rolls are finished cooking, cut them in half and serve with your delicious homemade ranch dipping sauce.

How to AIR FRY the Egg Rolls:

  • Spray olive oil on the basket of your Air fryer using a Misto or oil sprayer (not Pam). Place the egg rolls in the air fryer basket, seam side down, with some space around each of them.
  • Lightly spray the tops of the egg rolls with the oil spray.
  • Set the Air fryer to 360 degrees for 7 minutes. Flip, lightly spray with oil, and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Carefully remove them and let them sit for 5 minutes before cutting them in half.

How to wrap homemade egg rolls:

  • Find egg roll wrappers in the produce department or natural food department of your grocery store. They are usually near the tofu or organic yogurt.
  • Take the bottom corner and fold it tightly over the contents of the egg roll.
  • Take the 2 corners on the outside and fold them over tightly.
  • Then roll the egg roll keeping it tightly together. Stop before the top corner.
  • Dip your finger in a bit of water and run your wet finger along the top corner. Continue rolling to seal the egg roll.

Ingredients
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 8oz Oven Roasted Turkey breast slices
  • 5 strips bacon, cooked
  • 2 medium Roma tomatoes, cut in half, then each half sliced thinly
  • 1 medium ripe avocado, sliced thinly
  • 2 TBS light mayonnaise
  • 2 TBS Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 TBS milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 ½ teaspoon ranch seasoning
  • oil for frying
  • 3 slices swiss cheese, cut in 4 slices each
Instructions
For Sauce:
  1. Mix mayo, Greek yogurt, milk, and ranch seasoning in a bowl; set aside.

For Egg Rolls
  1. *Make sure you prep all the ingredients before you start making the egg rolls.

  2. Making one at a time, smear about ½ tsp-1 teaspoon ranch sauce in the middle of the egg roll wrapper, top with ¼ slice cheese, slice of Roasted Turkey Breast, bacon, tomato, avocado, and ¼ slice cheese.

  3. Carefully wrap the egg roll, being careful to keep it tight so the ingredients don't fall out (see more specific wrapping directions above). 

  4. Dip your finger in water, then run it along the final/top corner of the egg roll, and press to seal the wrapper.

If you don't have an air fryer, I will share my recommendations with you further down this post. But let's talk about Air Fryer Kale Chips and how simple they are to make!

How to make Healthy Air Fryer Kale Chips:

  • Using chopped kale, rinse it off and then pat to dry. Add the kale to a bowl then add olive oil, salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese. Using tongs, mix the kale and make sure the oil is distributed evenly.
  • Add the kale to the Air Fryer basket. Close the air fryer and set to 280 degrees, for 6 minutes. After 6 minutes, open and shake the basket, close and set for 2 more minutes. Check the kale after the 2 minutes and if it needs more crispness, add 1-2 more minutes.
    • Since all Air Fryer models cook a little bit differently, it's important to check the kale in increments while cooking to prevent from burning or overcooking. You want the kale crispy, but not burnt.
  • Remove the chips and snack happy!

Are Kale Chips healthy?

  • YES! Using the Air Fryer to make them even cuts down on the oil that is normally used when baking, saving even more fat and calories. Pair these with an air fryer hard boiled egg for the perfect snack or lunch!

How to Store Kale Chips:

Place in an air tight container and at room temperature. Will keep for 1 day and then will wilt. Can reheat for 2 minutes int he air fryer to get the crisp texture back!

DIY Hot Chocolate bombs are filled with hot chocolate mix and  marshmallows, and they melt open when hot milk is poured over the top to make the best hot chocolate!

DIY Hot Chocolate Bombs or hot cocoa bombs first became popular in 2020 on the popular social media app TikTok. They look super cool and as hot milk is poured over the top, the chocolate melts and the inside is exposed to mix and create hot chocolate! Kids LOVE these! They are actually very easy to make yourself at home, and only take a few ingredients. Keep them for your family or give them as gifts!

DIY Hot Chocolate bombs are filled with hot chocolate mix and  marshmallows, and they melt open when hot milk is poured over the top to make the best hot chocolate!

In order to make these hot chocolate bombs, you will need a few supplies:

  • One small, microwave safe bowl
  • Half sphere silicone mold
  • Small baggie or piping bag 

You will also need these Ingredients:

  • Semi sweet chocolate chips - These make for a wonderfully rich hot cocoa drink. Semi sweet are not too sweet and not too bitter. If you would like to go for a less sweet drink, go for dark chocolate chips and if you would like a sweeter drink, go for milk chocolate chips.
  • Chocolate Candy toppers - Amazon and Walmart carries mini, rainbow baking chips however if they are not available to you, you can remove the little chips off of the cosmic brownies. 
  • Hot Chocolate mix powder - Use your favorite brand of hot cocoa, whether it be in packets or in a container.
  • Cosmic Brownies (optional) - Pieces of cosmic brownie in the cocoa bomb are an added delight in this hot drink making it extra flavorful and unique. This is optional and you can use Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies or homemade cosmic brownies
  • Mini marshmallows - Because every hot cocoa deserves mini marshmallows!

Now, let's get cooking!

How to make DIY Hot Chocolate Bombs:

  1. Get all the ingredients together and melt the chocolate in the microwave safe bowl.
  2. Add the chocolate to each pocket in the half sphere silicone mold.
  3. Spread the chocolate in an even layer to coat the mold, but make sure the later is not TOO thin.
  4. Place the mold into the fridge or freezer for 10 minutes or until set.

  1. Once the chocolate is set in the mold remove from the freezer and set half of the spheres aside, and the other half we will use as the tops.
  2. Add remaining chocolate to the piping bag  and squeeze to drizzle over the tops.
  3. Sprinkle the Chocolate Candy toppers over the tops.
  4. Repeat for all top halves.
  5. Now using the bottom halves, add the hot chocolate powder to each one.
  6. Add bite sized piece of Cosmic Brownies (optional).
  7. Add Mini marshmallows

Next seal the Hot Chocolate Bombs top and bottom together:

  1. Warm a small, microwave safe plate in the microwave for 45-60 seconds.
  2. Place decorated, empty half sphere on the plate for a couple seconds until it begins to melt the edges.
    • This creates an even edge and a sort of glue.
  3. Connect with the bottom filled half sphere so that the edges meet. Hold for 10 seconds.
  4. Repeat with the remaining 5 spheres until they are all completed.

These step by step directions should help you make the perfect bombs! The whole family can help with making them, but you need a steady hand for the melting and putting together the top and bottom halves!

How to Serve DIY Hot Chocolate Bombs:

  • Set hot cocoa bomb in the bottom of a mug and pour 6 ounces of hot milk or water over top until the shell has melted in, releasing the hot cocoa powder, cosmic brownie and mini marshmallows.

  • Stir with a spoon until emulsified. Add chocolate syrup to mug if desired.

How long with Hot Chocolate Bombs last?

Since these are made with hot chocolate powder, they will stay good for 4-6 months. If you add the cosmic brownie inside, they will keep for 2 weeks. Keep in an air tight sealed container at room temperature.

What is a Cosmic Brownie? If you are 90's kid, you probably already know, but if not, let me explain... First made famous by Little Debbie and are chewy brownies covered in delicious fudge icing that feature a sprinkling of rainbow-colored, candy-coated chocolate chips for a surprise crunch! They can be found on Amazon or at your local grocery store. They are a really fun addition to the Hot Chocolate Bomb, but it is totally optional as well.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 TBS multi colored mini chocolate chips
  • 6 TBS hot chocolate mix
  • 1 cosmic brownie cut into 6 pieces (Little Debbie or Homemade) - optional
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • Half sphere silicone mold
Instructions
  1. In a small microwave safe bowl, melt 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips in 30 second increments, stirring in between. This should take 60-90 seconds. Once melted, spoon about 2 TBS into each half sphere and using a pastry brush or the back of a spoon, spread the chocolate around the whole sphere making sure the edges are well coated so that they are not fragile. Let set in the fridge or freezer until hardened, about 10 minutes. Once set, gently remove from the molds.

  2. Lay 6 half spheres on a plate, face down. In a small, microwave safe bowl, melt remaining ¼ cup semi sweet chocolate chips in 30 second increments, stirring in between. This should take 30-60 seconds. Once melted, spoon into a baggie or piping bag. Snip a small corner in the bag. Drizzle 5 halves (tops) with chocolate. Place several mini multi colored chocolate chips on top of the drizzle before it hardens. Repeat with 5 more half spheres. Let set in the fridge or freezer for 3-5 minutes until hardened.

  3. Lay the 6 remaining, plain half spheres face up on a plate. Spoon 1 TBS of hot chocolate mix into each half sphere. Top with one piece of cosmic brownie (optional) and several mini marshmallows.

  4. Warm a small microwave safe plate in the microwave for 45-60 seconds. Lay decorated, empty half sphere on the plate for a couple seconds until it begins to melt the edges.   5. To make hot cocoa - set hot cocoa bomb in the bottom of a mug and pour 6 oz of hot milk or water over top until the shell has melted in, releasing the hot cocoa powder, cosmic brownie and mini marshmallows. Stir with a spoon until emulsified.
Recipe Notes

**Cosmic brownies are optional and can be left out to make regular hot chocolate bombs. Follow directions as is, just omitting the brownies. The cosmic brownie piece is like having cookie dough in ice cream, they go well together and are delicious.

The base of the recipe is hard boiled eggs, which are super easy to make. How to Make The Best Egg Salad:

  • Make the hard boiled eggs. Try this Instant Pot or Air Fryer Method. Otherwise, make them on a stovetop with boiling water. Peel the hard boiled eggs and coarsely chop them.
  • In a bowl, add mayonnaise, dijon mustard, chopped celery, chopped green onions, paprika, salt, pepper, and fresh dill. Mix everything well.

  • Add the chopped eggs to the mixture, and then fold to combine. Don't mix too rough or the eggs will completely fall apart.
  • Place in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld together.

What can I add to egg salad?

There are lots of options on what to add to the classic recipe. Here are some of the most popular additions to the classic recipe: Bacon, chopped onions, olives, green or red peppers, relish or pickles, capers, pickle juice, or spice it up with some hot or buffalo sauce!

How to lighten up egg salad:

  • Instead of using all mayonnaise, you can substitute all or part of the mayo for plain nonfat Greek yogurt. This will cut down on the fat and calories while also boosting the protein.
    • The taste will change slightly if using all greek yogurt, so I recommend using half mayo and half Greek yogurt.
  • Instead of using mayo, use a mixture of Greek yogurt and avocado. This will also lower the fat and calories, and increase the 'good fats'.

  • Lastly, an easier way to lighten it up is to use low-fat mayonnaise in place of full fat mayonnaise.

  • 8 large hard boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
  • ½ cup low fat or regular mayonnaise

Microwaving bacon can come in handy when you are needing it for a specific recipe or you want some no-fuss quick bacon. Adjust the time to make the bacon softer or more crispy, it's easy. I love making bacon in the air fryer, but I use the microwave method all the time for quick effortless bacon!

  • Cook in the microwave for 4-6 minutes depending on desired crispiness (less time will be softer bacon).
    • Cook time can depend on wattage and model of microwave. Start with a lower time and add additional time for more crispiness.
  • Carefully remove the plate from the microwave (it will be hot), then remove the layers of paper towels and discard. Serve bacon immediately or set aside to use in desired recipe!

Can I make Turkey Bacon in the Microwave?

YES, but the cooking time is not the same. Turkey Bacon is already fully cooked so it just needs to be heated and it cooks FAST in the microwave.

  • Place 1 paper towel on a microwave safe plate, and then place the turkey bacon slices on top. Cook on high for 45 seconds, then add more time if needed in 10 second increments. It will cook FAST!

Using an air fryer to make Baked Potatoes is genius because it takes a fraction of the time of baking, and delivers a crispy skin while keeping the inside fluffy and soft! Air Fryer Baked Potatoes are the ultimate potato!

Load these up to make Southwestern Stuffed Baked Potatoes, Air Fryer Potato Skins, or Buffalo Broccoli Baked Potatoes!

Air Fryers are essentially rapid cooking ovens. They cook everything quicker, and are great for getting. Of course cooking times do vary based off model and type of air fryer, so you may have to adjust cooking times here and there. Overall, if you don't have an Air fryer, you need to get one (scroll down to see my recommendations). You can also make Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes (recipe here) or Air Fryer Sweet Potato fries

How to Make Baked Potatoes in the Air Fryer:

  • Prep the potatoes by washing and drying them thoroughly.
  • Add the potatoes to a bowl and drizzle extra virgin olive oil over them. Using your hands, rub the oil into the potatoes. Generously sprinkle course salt and ground black pepper over the potatoes.

  • Add the potatoes to the Air Fryer, making sure they are not touching (I could fit 4 large potatoes in my 7qt air fryer). Set the air fryer to 400 degrees and 35 minutes. At the 35 minute mark, test the potatoes but poking with a fork - if the fork does not slide in and out easily, cook for another 5 minutes. Continue until the fork slides in and out of the potato easily.
    • My large potatoes were done cooking at 40 minutes in my air fryer. Again, times will vary depending on air fryer model.
  • Remove the potatoes carefully and serve as desired.

How to Reheat Air Fryer Baked Potatoes:

If you are prepping potatoes ahead of time, they can easily be reheated in the air fryer. Set the air fryer to 350 degrees F, then add the potatoes and cook for 3-5 minutes. The larger the potatoes, the longer you will need to cook them. Check the potatoes every few minutes to ensure they don't burn.

Meal ideas for Air Fryer Potatoes:

Serving baked potatoes as a meal is easy when you add some toppings. Here are some easy suggestions:

  • Load the potatoes with Shredded Buffalo Chicken and top with green onions, cheddar cheese, and sour cream or ranch dressing.

Ingredients
  • 4 medium/large russet potatoes
  • 1-2 TBS extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ TBS course salt (kosher or sea salt)
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Clean and dry the potatoes thoroughly.

  2. Add potatoes to a bowl, drizzle oil over them. Use hands to rub the oil into the potatoes skins. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the potatoes, turning to evenly coat.

  3. Add the potatoes to the Air Fryer, making sure they are not touching (I could fit 4 large potatoes in my 7qt air fryer). Set the air fryer to 400 degrees and 35 minutes. At the 35 minute mark, test the potatoes but poking with a fork - if the fork does not slide in and out easily, cook for another 5 minutes. Continue until the fork slides in and out of the potato easily (My large potatoes were done cooking at 40 minutes in my air fryer. Again, times will vary depending on air fryer model).

  4. Remove the potatoes carefully and serve as desired.

How to Make One Pot Spicy Basil Chicken:

  • First, prep the chicken and other ingredients. Heat oil in a high sided skillet over medium heat, then add garlic and shallots and cook for 1 minutes. Add the chicken and saute for 7-9 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  • While the chicken is cooking, make the sauce: In a small bowl combine fish sauce, sugar, soy sauce, chili paste, water, cornstarch and salt, mix to combine. Add mixture to chicken and turn heat to high; cook for 1 minute or until the sauce thickens. Stir to coat the chicken. Remove from heat.
  • Gently stir in the basil leaves and the serve.

  • ¼ cup minced shallots

Instructions
  1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil to pan, allow to heat up. Add shallots and garlic and saute for about 30 seconds. Add chicken and saute until chicken is cooked through, about 7-9 minutes.

  2. In a small bowl, combine fish sauce, sugar, soy sauce, chili paste, water, cornstarch and salt. Add mixture to chicken and turn heat to high; cook for 1 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Stir to coat the chicken. Remove from heat and stir in basil leaves.

Instant Pot Almond Joy Cheesecake

Instant Pot Almond Joy Cheesecake is a flavor packed dessert! Packed with almonds, coconut, and chocolate, this is an Almond Joy lover's dream!

Cheesecake in the instant pot couldn’t be easier. It takes very little effort and the result is amazing. The cheesecake is essentially steamed to cook, which makes the most delicious and creamiest cheesecake ever. Use up any extra mini Almond Joy candy bars for this recipe! This Instant Almond Joy Cheesecake will be your go-to dessert from now on!

I have made several cheesecakes in the Slow Cooker (including this Butterfinger Cheesecake – YUM!) and a few in the instant pot like this Snickers Cheesecake, and they always come out fantastic! It might seem intimidating to make the cake in the Instant Pot, but trust me, it’s EASY! Once you get the hang of it though, you realize how much you were missing because it’s a game changer in the kitchen! 

Tools needed to make Instant Pot Almond Joy Cheesecake:

  • Instant Pot: I have a 6 quart Instant Pot, but if you have a bigger family or like to make big batches, I recommend getting the 8 quart Instant Pot.
  • A trivet: I recommend a removable trivet with handles, otherwise you will need to make a sling to remove your pan from the Instant Pot.  A trivet with handles makes things MUCH easier!
  • A springform pan to make the cheesecake. A 6 inch or 7 inch springform pan will work in the 6 quart instant pot (and 8qt as well). A springform pan has a removable bottom that will allow you to release the cheesecake from the pan without making a HUGE mess. 
  • A hand mixer to make the cheesecake filling

How to Make Almond Joy Cheesecake:

  • Make the crust – Take whole Oreo cookies and pulse them in a food processor until crushed. Mix the crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of the spring form pan. Pop it in the fridge while you are making the filling.
    • Want to mix it up? Use graham cracker crumbs as the crust!
  • Make the filling: Mix the cream cheese filling together using a hand mixer or by hand – do not over-mix. Fold in almond slices, chocolate chips, and shredded coconut.
  • Pour the cream cheese filling into the crust spread it carefully. Only fill pan ¾ of the way full. It will rise a bit and you don’t want it to spill over. Do not overfill!
  • Add 1 ½ cups of water to the bottom of the Instant Pot, place the cheesecake on top of the removable trivet with handles, then lower carefully into the pot. Close the lid, make sure the valve is sealed.

  • Set the Instant Pot to manual or high pressure. Set the timer for 23 minutes.
    • It will take some time to build up to pressure, then the time will begin to count down.
    • Once the time is done, let the pressure release naturally (don’t flip the valve) for 10-15 minutes. Release remaining pressure and remove the top. 
    • There may be some condensation on the top of the cheesecake, just use a paper towel to carefully damp the water off the top. 
  • Place the cheesecake in the refrigerator at least 8 hours (preferably over night). 
  • After the cheesecake has set overnight, and before serving, make the topping. Mix chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl and cook for 30 seconds, whisk to combine. If it’s not completely melted, cook again for 15 seconds, and whisk again.
  • Remove the cheesecake from the pan (you may need to run a knife between the pan and the cheesecake to loosen it) and place on cake-stand or serving tray.
  • Pour and spread the chocolate ganache topping over the cheesecake. Add shredded coconut, slices almonds, chopped Almond Joy candy bars, and then drizzle with extra ganache topping. Slice and serve instant pot almond joy cheesecake!

Want the perfect slice of cheesecake? Run a non-serrated knife under hot water for 30 seconds. Dry and then slice pressing hard all the way down in one motion. Clean and run the knife under hot water between each slice.

For crust:
  • 1 ¼ cup crushed Oreo cookies, whole
  • 2 TBS unsalted butter
For filling:
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ⅔ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup sour cream or nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • ¼ cup milk chocolate chips
For ganache topping:
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cups milk chocolate chips (about 4 ounces)
Additional toppings:
  • ¼ cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 TBS sliced almonds
  • 4-5 almond joy candy bars, chopped
  • homemade ganache
Instructions
For the crust:
  1. In a bowl mix crushed Oreos with melted butter until crumbs are all moistened. Dump mixture into a 6 inch or 7 inch springform pan. Press the crumbs down using a glass cup or spatula in an even layer, pressing up onto sides. Place in fridge while preparing the rest.

For the filling:
  1. In a large mixing bowl, add softened cream cheese and beat with hand mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add sugar and beat until mixed. Add one egg, beat until mixed. Add 2nd egg and beat until mixed. Add sour cream or Greek yogurt and beat until mixed. Fold in almond slices, chocolate chips, and shredded coconut.

To cook:
  1. Remove crust from fridge, then pour filling into the crust until it is ¾ of the way full. Do not overfill. Smooth top in an even layer.

  2. Add 1 ½ cups of water to the bottom of the instant pot. Place the cheesecake on top of the trivet/rack, then lower carefully into the pot. Close the lid, and place the valve in the sealed position. Set the Instant Pot to manual or high pressure. Set the timer for 23 minutes. Once the time is done, let the pressure release naturally (don’t flip the valve) for 10-15 minutes. Release remaining pressure and remove the top. **There may be some condensation on the top of the cheesecake, just use a paper towel to carefully damp the water off the top. 

  3. Remove the cheesecake from the instant pot and let cool on the counter for at least 1 hour. Place the cheesecake in the refrigerator at least 8 hours (preferably overnight). 

For the ganache topping:
  1. Add chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl and cook for 30 seconds, whisk to melt/combine. If it’s not completely melted, cook again for 15 seconds, and whisk again. Set aside

To serve:
  1. Remove the cheesecake from the pan (you may need to run a knife between the pan and the cheesecake to loosen it) and place on cake-stand or serving tray.

  2. Pour and spread the chocolate ganache topping over the cheesecake. Add shredded coconut, slices almonds, chopped Almond Joy candy bars, and then drizzle with extra ganache topping. Slice and serve instant pot almond joy cheesecake!

No Instant Pot, no problem - you can make this Almond Joy Cheesecake in the Slow Cooker:

  • Add 1 inch of water to a large slow cooker (5, 6, or 7 quart slow cooker). Place a wire rack into the bottom (I used 3 rings from Mason jar lids to set it on), and then place the filled spring form pan on top of rack.
  • Lay 3 layers of paper towels across the top of the slow cooker (hold tight so they don’t fall and touch the cheesecake), then place the lid on top.
  • Cook on high for 2 hours (do not remove the lid at all during this time), turn off, remove lid and paper towels, and let stand for 1-2 hours or until slow cooker is cool. Place cheesecake in pan into the fridge and let set for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Continue with directions from how to make ganache and top cheesecake.

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces Cranberry Ginger Ale or Cranberry Sprite
  • 4 ounces vodka
  • ¼ cup cranberries
  • 2 limes juiced
  • Ice
Instructions
  1. Place ice into two copper mugs or cocktail glasses. Pour 4 ounces Cranberry Ginger Ale into each cup, then 2 ounces vodka to each cup. Chop about half of the cranberries in half, distribute to both cups, add remaining whole cranberries to both cups. Add juice from one lime to each cup. Stir and enjoy!

Making quick and delicious meals is vital when you have a busy family! One skillet or one pot meals are a staple in my dinner routine because they are easy, fast, and everyone loves them! The minimal cleanup is also a bonus! Try out this One Skillet Lemon Artichoke Chicken for a super healthy meal that and everyone will lov!

Making this one skillet meal is easy and it doesn't take much effort. It's incredibly quick to make too, taking less than 20 minutes! I like to serve it alongside rice or quinoa, but cauliflower rice or pasta would be delicious as well! It's super healthy with only 195 calories per serving and a whopping 26 grams of protein!

What type of Artichokes do I buy for this recipe?

Look for canned artichoke hearts (quartered, halved, whole all fine) in water. Marinated artichokes are great for serving on an antipasto tray or charcuterie board, but since they are soaked in oil and spices they aren't the right type for this recipe.

How to make One Skillet Lemon Artichoke Chicken:

  • Start by preparing all of the ingredients.
  • Add oil to a large skillet and heat on medium heat. Then add the cubed chicken to a bowl and toss with 2 TBS cornstarch. Add the chicken into the skillet and add salt and pepper. Cook 3 minutes, turning while cooking, and then add the shallot and garlic. Cook 2 minutes while sautéing.

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into bite sized cubes
  • 3 TBS cornstarch (divided 2 TBS and 1 TBS)

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 shallot, diced finely
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup reduced sodium chicken broth
  • 1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 lemon, juiced (reserved) and zested
  • 6 ounces baby spinach
  • lemon wedges, optional garnish
Instructions
  1. Add oil to a large skillet and heat on medium heat.

  2. Add the cubed chicken to a bowl and toss with 2 TBS cornstarch. Add the chicken into the skillet and add salt and pepper. Cook 3 minutes, turning while cooking, and then add the shallot and garlic. Cook 2 minutes while sautéing.

  3. Add the chicken broth and stir. Cook for 2 minutes. Add artichokes, oregano, and lemon zest, stir.

Done in less than 20 minutes and ready to serve, this Instant Pot Buffalo Chicken Dip is delicious and easy! Using this Homemade Buffalo Sauce recipe ensures the perfect taste!

It is SO EASY making this buffalo chicken dip in the Instant Pot, let me share how:

How to make Instant Pot Buffalo Chicken Dip:

  • First cook the chicken in the Instant Pot:
    • Add buffalo sauce (recipe here) and ranch dressing to the instant pot. Add chicken.
    • Close the instant pot and place the pressure valve in the sealed position. Set the pot on manual/high pressure and set the timer for 10 minutes.
      • It will take some time to build up to pressure, then the time will begin to count down.
  • After the time is up, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes (do not flip the valve). After 5 minutes, release the remaining pressure by flipping the valve. Careful as steam will come out of the top of the pot.
  • Using 2 forks shred the chicken by pulling it apart. You can also use a hand mixer on low speed to shred the chicken.
  • Add cream cheese and shredded cheese to the Instant Pot. Mix until melted and completely combined.
  • Once everything is combined you have two options:
    • Serve as is, or transfer to a baking dish and broil to get the top crispy! I like to broil it for a few minutes to have a nice crispy cheese layer on top!
    • Garnish the top with chopped green onions for some extra crunch!

What to serve with the Dip:

  • Air Fryer Bagel Chips (with oven directions)
  • Serve with sliced baguette pieces
  • Serve with tortilla chips
  • Serve with warm flour tortillas
  • Serve with carrot and celery sticks

Can I make Buffalo Chicken Dip in the Slow Cooker?

Yes!

  • Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker. Set on high for 5 hours or low for 8 hours.
  • Shred the chicken when the time is up and then stir to combine everything.
  • Add a layer of cheese on top, then close the lid and leave for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted! Serve!

How to make Healthier Buffalo Chicken Dip:

Buffalo chicken dip is really not a health food, but there are a few ways to save some calories and fat grams!

  • Instead of using full fat cream cheese, use ⅓ less fat cream cheese. This saves calories and fat.
  • Reduce the shredded cheese by 25%. I don't recommend using low fat cheese because this will not melt well in your dip.
  • Serve with healthier options like low carb tortillas, celery sticks, and carrot sticks. Sliced cucumbers and peppers would also be a great way to serve the buffalo chicken dip.

While still not 'healthy', this will definitely lighten up the dip.

Step 1 - Make toilet paper rolls

  • Make the brown roll:
    • Cut brown paper into ½ inch wide strip (3 times)
    • Using a straw or dowel, start wrapping the brown paper around tightly Glue at beginning and end to secure in place.
    • Repeat 3 times.

  • Cut strips of toilet paper ½ inch wide (3 times).

Cheesecake in the instant pot couldn't be easier. It takes very little effort and the result is amazing. The cheesecake is essentially steamed to cook, which makes the most delicious and creamiest cheesecake ever. Use up mini Snickers candy bars for this recipe and you likely have all the ingredients already. This Instant Pot Snickers Cheesecake will be your go-to dessert from now on!

Instant Pot Snickers Cheesecake is a dessert that takes very little effort! Packed with caramel, peanuts, and milk chocolate, this is the best cheesecake ever!

I have made several cheesecakes in the Slow Cooker (including this Butterfinger Cheesecake – YUM!) and a few in the instant pot and they always come out fantastic! It might seem intimidating to make the cake in the Instant Pot, but trust me, it's EASY! Once you get the hang of it though, you realize how much you were missing because it’s a game changer in the kitchen! 

What you need to make Instant Pot Snickers Cheesecake:

  • Instant Pot: I have a 6 quart Instant Pot, but if you have a bigger family or like to make big batches, I recommend getting the 8 quart Instant Pot.
  • A trivet: I recommend a removable trivet with handles, otherwise you will need to make a sling to remove your pan from the Instant Pot. A trivet with handles makes things MUCH easier!
  • A springform pan to make the cheesecake. A 6 inch or 7 inch springform pan will work in the 6 quart instant pot (and 8qt as well). A springform pan has a removable bottom that will allow you to release the cheesecake from the pan without making a HUGE mess. 
  • A hand mixer to make the cheesecake filling

How to Make Snickers Cheesecake:

  • Make the crust – Take whole Oreo cookies and pulse them in a food processor until crushed. Mix the crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of the spring form pan. Pop it in the fridge while you are making the filling.
    • Want to mix it up? Use graham cracker crumbs as the crust!
  • Make the filling: Mix the cream cheese filling together using a hand mixer or by hand – do not over-mix. Fold in chopped Snickers candy bars.
  • Pour the cream cheese filling into the crust spread it carefully. Only fill pan ¾ of the way full. It will rise a bit and you don't want it to spill over. Do not overfill!
  • Add 1 ½ cups of water to the bottom of the Instant Pot, place the cheesecake on top of the removable trivet with handles, then lower carefully into the pot. Close the lid, make sure the valve is sealed.
  • Set the Instant Pot to manual or high pressure. Set the timer for 23 minutes.
    • It will take some time to build up to pressure, then the time will begin to count down.
    • Once the time is done, let the pressure release naturally (don’t flip the valve) for 10-15 minutes. Release remaining pressure and remove the top. 
    • There may be some condensation on the top of the cheesecake, just use a paper towel to carefully damp the water off the top. 
  • Place the cheesecake in the refrigerator at least 8 hours (preferably over night).

  • After the cheesecake has set overnight, and before serving, make the topping. Mix chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl and cook for 30 seconds, whisk to combine. If it's not completely melted, cook again for 15 seconds, and whisk again.
  • Remove the cheesecake from the pan (you may need to run a knife between the pan and the cheesecake to loosen it) and place on cake-stand or serving tray.
  • Pour and spread the chocolate ganache topping over the cheesecake. Add chopped Snickers candy bars, and then drizzle with caramel sauce (homemade or store bought works). Slice and serve instant pot snickers cheesecake!

Want the perfect slice of cheesecake? Run a non-serrated knife under hot water for 30 seconds. Dry and then slice pressing hard all the way down in one motion. Clean and run the knife under hot water between each slice.

Anyone who has a sweet tooth will go CRAZY over this cheesecake! Don’t be intimidated, JUST GO FOR IT! My ONLY complaint about making instant pot cheesecake is that it’s small! Although, with this amount of decadence, probably the smaller amount the better!

For crust:
  • 1 ¼ cup crushed Oreo cookies, whole
  • 2 TBS unsalted butter
For filling:
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ⅔ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup sour cream or nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup chopped snickers candy bars
For ganache topping:
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cups milk chocolate chips (about 4 ounces)
For additional topping
  • ¾ cups chopped Snickers bars
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce
Instructions
For the crust:
  1. In a bowl mix crushed Oreos with melted butter until crumbs are all moistened. Dump mixture into a 6 inch or 7 inch springform pan. Press the crumbs down using a glass cup or spatula in an even layer, pressing up onto sides. Place in fridge while preparing the rest.

For the filling:
  1. In a large mixing bowl, add softened cream cheese and beat with hand mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add sugar and beat until mixed. Add one egg, beat until mixed. Add 2nd egg and beat until mixed. Add sour cream or Greek yogurt and beat until mixed. Add chopped Snickers and fold into filling using a spatula.

To cook:
  1. Remove crust from fridge, then pour filling into the crust until it is ¾ of the way full. Do not overfill. Smooth top in an even layer.

  2. Add 1 ½ cups of water to the bottom of the instant pot. Place the cheesecake on top of the trivet/rack, then lower carefully into the pot. Close the lid, and place the valve in the sealed position. Set the Instant Pot to manual or high pressure. Set the timer for 23 minutes. Once the time is done, let the pressure release naturally (don’t flip the valve) for 10-15 minutes. Release remaining pressure and remove the top. **There may be some condensation on the top of the cheesecake, just use a paper towel to carefully damp the water off the top. 

  3. Remove the cheesecake from the instant pot and let cool on the counter for at least 1 hour. Place the cheesecake in the refrigerator at least 8 hours (preferably over night). 

For the ganache topping:
  1. Add chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl and cook for 30 seconds, whisk to melt/combine. If it’s not completely melted, cook again for 15 seconds, and whisk again. Set aside

To serve:
  1. Remove the cheesecake from the pan (you may need to run a knife between the pan and the cheesecake to loosen it) and place on cake-stand or serving tray.

  2. Pour and spread the chocolate ganache topping over the cheesecake. Add chopped Snickers candy bars, and then drizzle with caramel sauce (homemade or store bought works). Slice and serve!

It only takes a few minutes to put together, and the pay-off on the final taste is out of this world! Round up the ingredients and get cooking!

How to make Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese:

  • First, get all the ingredients together. After we make the filling, we will make an assembly line to put the sandwiches together.

  • In a medium bowl, add the softened ream cheese, HALF of the shredded cheeses (set the other half aside), garlic, spices, and chopped jalapeños to a bowl and mix thoroughly. Set aside.

  • Taking 4 slices of bread, butter one side of each slice of bread. Place the buttered sides face down. Add half of the cream cheese mixture to 2 slices of bread. Top the other 2 slices with the remaining shredded cheese. Place the cream cheese mixture slice of bread on top of the other slice, with the buttered sides facing out.

  • Using a heavy bottom skillet, heat over medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Add sandwiches to the skillet and cook 3-4 minutes on the first side. Once golden, flip and cook for 2 minutes on the next side.

Tips for making the perfect grilled cheese:

  • Keep the skillet over a medium/low heat. It is very easy to burn the bread while cooking a grilled cheese, so avoid this by cooking over medium/low heat. This ensures the cheese melts while not cooking the bread too quickly.
  • Use enough cheese! Grilled cheese is meant to be packed with cheese…don’t skimp!
  • Eat right after it’s cooked! No one likes soggy or cold hardened grilled cheese! Eat it freshly cooked for the most outstanding taste!

It's easy to make cheesecake in the slow cooker, here's how:

How to make Slow Cooker Butterfinger Cheesecake:

  • Make the filling: In the bowl of a stand mixer, add cream cheese, vanilla, and 1⁄2 cup sugar, salt and flour; using the paddle attachment beat on medium until completely combined and no lumps. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until mixed. Add sour cream and beat for 30 seconds; scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula; beat 15 additional seconds. Add the 6 chopped Butterfinger bars, and beat 20 seconds. Set mixture aside.
  • Make the crust: In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, butter and 1 TBS sugar, with a fork; combine. Pour crumbs into the bottom of the spring form pan and press down evenly to make the crust.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture on top of the crust, into the spring form pan.

  • Add 1 inch of water to the large slow cooker (5, 6, or 7 quart slow cooker). Place a wire rack into the bottom (I used 3 rings from Mason jar lids to set it on), and then place the filled spring form pan on top of rack.
  • Lay 3 layers of paper towels across the top of the slow cooker (hold tight so they don’t fall and touch the cheesecake), then place the lid on top.
  • Cook on high for 2 hours (do not remove the lid at all during this time), turn off, remove lid and paper towels, and let stand for 1-2 hours or until slow cooker is cool.
  • Place cheesecake in pan into the fridge and let set for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Using a non-serrated long knife, run it between the cake and the pan sides, then release the lock and pop to cake out on the base. Using the remaining 3 fun size Butterfingers, chop and sprinkle over the top of the cake. Drizzle chocolate sauce over the top. Slice and serve!

  • 1.5 packages cream cheese 12 ounces total, softened

This Bacon Mac and Cheese Gnocchi is OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious! I love making pasta, but my family gets sick of the same old pasta dishes, so when I saw a pack of gnocchi, I knew I could put a twist on things by making a Bacon Mac and Cheese Gnocchi!

Bacon Mac & Cheese Gnocchi is the perfect delicious dinner! You will love the gooey cheese, crispy bacon, and crunchy bread crumb topping!

This recipe is so easy, and taking hardly any time to whip up, that saves me time that I can be spending with my family! My kids even like helping me shred the cheese and mix everything together! Serve this alongside a delicious easy Wedge Salad or with the Best Ever Garlic Bread!

How to make Bacon Mac and Cheese Gnocchi:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Place 8 strips of bacon on the sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cooked a bit crispy. Remove bacon from sheet and place on paper towel lined dish; set aside. You can also use the microwave to make the bacon.
  • In a medium sauce, pot, cook the gnocchi, according to package directions and strain, and set aside.
  • in a medium pot, melt the butter and add the garlic. Sauté for one minute and then add the flour and whisk to combine; cook for 30 seconds during continuously. Over medium heat, slowly and milk while whisking. Increase heat to high and whisk constantly until mixture, thickens, and comes to a bubble.
  • Reduce heat to low, add cheese and whisk to combine. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a small bowl add panko, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and green onions; toss to combine. Chop the bacon strips.
  • In a small baking dish, add gnocchi, pour cheese sauce over the top and carefully toss to coat. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top, then sprinkle bacon crumbles, and then sprinkle the panko mixture on top of that.
  • Place into the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Switch to broil and broil for 2-3 minutes or until panko is lightly browned and crispy. Remove from oven and top with green onions if desired. Serve immediately!

Bacon & 'Mac' & Cheese Gnocchi
Ingredients
  • 1 package gnocchi
  • ½ package NatureRaised Farms Bacon
  • 2 TBS butter
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 2 TBS flour
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 ½ cups white cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional but I recommend it
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 green onions chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Now that fall is here, I have been whipping up lots of delicious ‘fall’ recipes. I was really excited to make this Apple Grilled Cheese with delicious smokey gouda cheese because not only is it reminiscent of fall, but because it is super simple and delicious.

Serve this with Air Fryer Butternut Squash or Instant Pot Roasted Red Pepper Soup and you have a delicious balanced meal!

I love making savory food, and this Apple Grilled Cheese is definitely that. When fall rolls around, I feel like food is so centered around apples, pumpkin, cinnamon, and sweet potatoes…as it should be. I just swoon over all of those things, and fall foods make me super happy.

Tips for making the BEST Apple Grilled Cheese:

  • For this Apple Grilled Cheese sandwich I used a smoked gouda cheese, and it’s up to you if you use smoked or regular. I think it would be great with both, but the smoked gives it this bacon-y punch that’s really special.
  • Pairing the cheese and apples is a no brainer (think cheese plate), but now you are sandwiching it between two crusty pieces of bread. Then grilling it up, you melt the cheese and it becomes perfection.
  • Cook over a constant medium heat. This will allow the cheese to melt without burning the bread.

  • Add broth, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and Pasta. Using a wooden spoon, stir everything in the pot, and then press the pasta down into the broth, trying to cover as much as possible.

  • Close the lid of the instant pot, then turn the valve to the sealed position. Set the instant pot on manual for 4 minutes.
    • Remember that the Instant Pot will need time to ‘come to pressure’ before the 4 minutes starts counting down. This might take 10-15 minutes depending on the instant pot model. Once the pressure is built up, the timer will count down.
  • After the timer has gone off, allow the pot to sit and release pressure naturally (do not flip the valve) for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, flip the pressure valve and release the remaining pressure.

  • Open the lid and stir. Add the baby spinach and stir. Add the cream cheese and parmesan cheese and stir until completely combined.
  • Loosely place the lid back on the instant pot and allow the tuscan chicken pasta to stand in the pot for 5 minutes (this will help thicken the sauce), add fresh basil leaves, then stir again before serving.

Ingredients
  • 1 TBS extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp oregano
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon minced garlic
  • 32 ounces reduced sodium vegetable or chicken stock
  • 12 ounces pasta
  • 6-7 ounces sun-dried tomatoes, drained from oil (different jars are different sizes, either will work), and chopped
  • 6 ounces baby spinach
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (regular or reduced fat), chopped into 4 blocks
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese (from a block of cheese, not the green container)
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
Instructions
  1. Set the instant pot to sauté mode, and add 1 TBS oil to the pot. Let heat for 1 minute. Add the cubed chicken to the pot. Add dried basil, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.

  2. Add broth, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and Pasta. Using a wooden spoon, stir everything together, then press the pasta down into the broth trying to cover as much as possible (if some is still out of the broth, it is okay).

  3. Close the lid of the instant pot, and set the valve to the sealed position. Set the instant pot on manual for 4 minutes. After the time is up, let the pressure release naturally (don't touch the valve) for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, carefully flip the valve to the open position (steam will come out of the valve), and let the remaining pressure be released.

  4. Open the lid of the instant pot and stir. Add baby spinach, and stir. Add cream cheese and parmesan cheese, and stir until completely incorporated.

  5. Loosely place the lid back on the instant pot, and let the tuscan chicken pasta sit for 5 minutes (this will help thicken the sauce), add fresh basil leaves, then stir again before serving.

  6. Serve and garnish with extra basil and parmesan cheese is desired.

What is a Charcuterie Board?

Charcuterie (pronounced "shahr-ku-tuh-ree") is a tray or board that has been assembled using cured meats. Traditionally the board then has accompaniments to the meats such as cheeses, breads or crackers, and spreads for topping.

However, in the last few years they have gained major popularity and there are dessert boards, fruit boards, holiday themed board (like this Halloween Snack Tray made by Bree), and various other boards. People are using the term 'charcuterie' loosely with these types of boards, but the name can be broad at this point.

Air Fryer Butternut Squash is a delicious healthy meal or side dish! Taking just fraction of the time in the air fryer, this will become a family favorite!

This Air Fryer Butternut Squash is delicious, hearty, and majorly healthy! It takes half the time to make in the air fryer compared to baking, but I will share directions for both as well. This butternut squash can be served as a main dish or a side dish.

The Air Fryer is an appliance that is amazing! If you haven't purchased one yet, you have to! I'll share my favorites a little further down! Using the air fryer to make healthy recipes is so easy! I've shared so many with you, including Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan, Air Fryer Crispy Parmesan Brussels Sprouts, and Air Fryer Roasted Asparagus among many more!

It's easy to make this Air Fryer Butternut Squash, here's how:

How to Make Air Fryer Butternut Squash:

  • Prep the butternut squash by washing the outside and scrubbing any dirt of the shell. Then using a heavy chefs knife, Cut the butternut squash in half, lengthwise.
  • Using a spoon, scoop the seeds and stringy flesh out of the circular half.
  • Score the squash length wise, then width-wise, about 3 times each (see photo below).
  • Rub extra virgin olive oil all over the inside of the squash. Sprinkle with cracked black pepper, salt, and brown sugar (if desired).
  • Place the halves into the air fryer.

  • Set the air fryer to 375 degrees and 27 minutes.
  • Once the time is up, remove the butternut squash and dig in! You can scrape the flesh out and plate it, or serve the butternut squash in the shell (my favorite way) and eat it out of the shell.

As I mentioned, butternut squash is SUPER HEALTHY for you! Here's why.....

Is Butternut Squash Healthy?

YES! Butternut Squash is one of the oldest known crops (dating back 10,000 years) and it is nutritious and tasty!

  • A 1 cup serving of butternut squash with nothing added has 63 calories, 0g fat, 16g carbohydrates, 2.8g fiber, 3g sugar, 1.4g protein.
  • A servings contains 100% the daily recommendation for Vitamin A, 40% vitamin C, 15% magnesium, 18% potassium.
  • It’s a great hydrator. One serving of butternut squash is roughly 87% water, which can help keep you hydrated. (cited from WebMD)
  • It’s good for your immunity . Like other orange-colored fruits and vegetables, butternut squash is full of beta-carotene and alpha-carotene. Your body converts them to vitamin A, which is important for your immune system. (cited from WebMD)
  • It’s excellent for your eyes. Butternut squash has lutein and zeaxanthin, often found in yellow fruits and vegetables as well as eggs. Along with beta-carotene and vitamin A, these protect your eyes from ultraviolet rays. (cited from WebMD)

If you don't have an Air Fryer, I suggest you buy one, however, here's how to bake the butternut squash.

How to Bake Butternut Squash:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Follow the directions on how to prep, cut, and coat the butternut squash in oil/spices.
  • Add the butternut squash to a baking dish, then place into the oven.
  • Set the timer to 50 minutes. Depending on the size of the squash you may have to add 5-10 more minutes. When the squash is fork tender and you can remove the flesh with no resistance, it's done.

Air Fryer Bacon is the EASIEST method for cooking bacon. Avoid the greasy mess, and the bacon turns out deliciously crispy and perfect!

Using the Air Fryer to make bacon is genius! Not only does it take a fraction of the time, but the cleanup is nearly effortless and the results extraordinary! If you don't have an air fryer already, this is reason enough to purchase one now! I will share my favorites with you further down in this post.

Not only can you make bacon in the air fryer, but you can make other delicious meals such as Air Fryer French Toast, Air Fryer Cinnamon Rolls, and French Toast Sticks, Hot Dogs, Chicken Parmesan, and so much more!

Making the best bacon ever is SO easy in the air fryer! Setting it and forgetting it is totally a thing with this recipe! Here's how we do it!

How to make The BEST Air Fryer Bacon:

  • Using your favorite brand of bacon, add slices to the air fryer basket so that they are touching, but not overlapping (I can usually fit 5-6 slices per batch in my Air Fryer).
    • Optional: set something on top of your bacon like a metal rack. This prevents the bacon from flying around inside the basket. I use this metal rack UPSIDE DOWN from my instant pot.

  • Close the air fryer and set for 370 degrees and 8 minutes.
  • Open the air fryer basket and check doneness of the bacon. If you want the bacon crispier, add 1-2 more minutes.
  • Using tongs (silicone to prevent scratching), carefully remove the bacon from the air fryer and serve immediately!

Best way to clean up bacon grease from the air fryer:

There are many ways to clean the air fryer after cooking bacon, and here are some tips I've learned along the way:

  1. My favorite method is the old fashioned way, hand washing it. I place my basket in the sink, and add Dawn dish soap. Then, after my water is hot, I use the sink sprayer to spray the inside of the basket. It literally cleans itself and I just rinse it out after that!
  2. Place a piece of bread in the very bottom of the air fryer while cooking the bacon. This will absorb the grease and you can toss the bread for an easy cleanup.
  3. Use parchment paper air fryer liners on the bottom of your air fryer. I don't use these, but a lot of people recommend them.
  4. I've read people recommending to put some water in the bottom of your air fryer basket, but I DO NOT recommend this. That water will be boiling by the time the recipe is done and it can easily splash out and burn you. Do not try this.

This hearty Instant Pot Potato Soup is a delicious comfort meal. The soup is the perfect mix of potatoes, bacon, and cheese. In just a few minutes, dinner is served!

This Instant Pot Potato Soup is full of cheese and bacon and delicious spices! It is the perfect rainy day or cold weather meal; however I also love eating it in the summer! I will eat soup anytime! I will share how to make this in the Instant Pot as well as the slow cooker. With the Instant Pot, dinner will be ready in under 30 minutes which makes a fast family meal!

Serve this with simple Air Fryer Roasted Broccoli or Asparagus, or an Easy Wedge Salad for the perfect meal!

If you don't have an Instant Pot, you need to get one! It is a great appliance that will save you a lot of time! You can make everything from The Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs to Peanut Butter Cheesecake! I love the Instant pot! This Potato Soup is EASY to make, here's how!

How to Make Instant Pot Potato Soup (with bacon and cheese):

  • Get all of the ingredients together. This is a 'dump' recipe, where you are going to toss everything in and let it cook! Makes life so easy!
  • Add the chicken stock, cream of mushroom or chicken soup, frozen potatoes, seasonings, and 5 slices of chopped pre-cooked bacon (use this Microwave Bacon method- so easy) to the Instant Pot.

  • Put the top on the Instant Pot and seal the lid. Make sure the pressure valve is in the sealed position. Set to manual or high, then set for 8 minutes.
    • Remember that 8 minutes is NOT the total cooking time. It will take some time for the pot to 'come to pressure'. Once it comes to pressure, the timer will start counting down. Since this recipe has a lot of liquid it could take some time. Mine began counting down after 12-15 minutes.
  • Place the cream cheese on the counter to bring it to room temperature while the soup is cooking. Grate the block of sharp cheddar cheese.
    • Freshly grated cheese will work a lot better for this recipe. Pre-shredded cheese has additives that make it grainy when melting.
  • Once the time is up, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes, then release the rest of the pressure by flipping the valve to the side (careful steam will escape here).
  • Add the cubed cream cheese and ¾ of the grated cheddar cheese. Put the lid back on the top of the pot and let sit for 5 minutes (this will help everything melt together.
  • After 5 minutes, use a whisk and stir the soup until the cheeses are completely melted and incorporated.
  • Serve the soup hot and top with crispy bacon and more cheese if desired.
  • You could even slam a home run with this recipe by serving the soup in these homemade bread bowls!!! YUM!!!

If you don't have an Instant Pot, don't worry! You can also make this delicious potato soup in a slow cooker! Here's how:

How to make Potato Soup in the Slow Cooker:

  • Add all ingredients to the slow cooker, close and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 7 hours.
  • Stir well when the time is up and serve with desired toppings.

Instant Pot Potato Soup is definitely a meal you can eat all by itself; it's hearty, filling, and delicious! However, if you want to serve it as a side dish, I highly recommend serving it with one of these main dishes:

Ingredients
  • 32 ounces chicken or vegetable stock
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
  • 32 ounce bag frozen hash-brown potatoes (cubed, not shredded)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ TSB fresh garlic
  • 5 slices pre-cooked bacon, chopped (about ½ cup bacon crumbles)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened or room temperature
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded (set ⅓ cup aside for topping)
For topping, optional
  • ⅓ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, (reserved from the 8 ounces above)
  • 3 slices pre-cooked bacon slices, chopped (about ¼th cup)
  • green onions
Instructions
Instant Pot Directions:
  1. Using a 6 or 8 quart instant pot, add chicken stock, cream of mushroom or chicken soup, frozen potatoes, seasonings, and 5 slices of chopped pre-cooked bacon to the pot.

  2. Put the top on the Instant Pot and seal the lid. Make sure the pressure valve is in the sealed position. Set to manual or high, then set for 8 minutes. **Remember that 8 minutes is NOT the total cooking time. Homemade Air Fryer French Toast Sticks are so easy and delicious! Eat them fresh or freeze and reheat later for a quick breakfast!

Making breakfast in the Air Fryer is genius! Cleanup is easy and it makes homemade french toast sticks in under 10 minutes! Best of all, you don’t have to stand over the stovetop waiting to flip over them over! Make a big batch and then freeze them for easy delicious breakfasts all week!

Serve alongside a delicious fruit salad and you are good to go! These Air Fryer French Toast Sticks will be a staple in your breakfast rotation! Not a fan of french toast sticks? I also have a recipe for Air Fryer French Toast that is easy and delicious!

If you haven’t jumped on the Air Fryer train, you need to! It’s my favorite appliance and it takes the place of a toaster, toaster oven, microwave, fryer, and microwave (for the most part). I highly recommend purchasing an Air Fryer if you haven’t already!

Making these French Toast Sticks couldn't be easier! Here's how:

How to make Air Fryer French Toast Sticks:

  • Prepare the bread and egg mixture:
    • Slice brioche or challah bread into thick slices. Then each slice into 3-4 sticks (depending on how wide the bread is). Set aside.
    • In a medium bowl, add egg, cream/half and half, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon; whisk to combine completely; set aside

  • Make an assembly line: setup whisked egg mixture and bread next to each other.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick oil spray (I like to use a MISTO SPRAYER like this one) or use a parchment paper liner so the bread doesn’t stick to the basket (this is important).
  • Dip the sticks into the egg mixture being sure to flip and coat both sides. Lift out of the mixture and allow to drip for a few seconds, then place into the air fryer basket. Repeat for remaining sticks.
    • I fit 11 sticks in my air fryer, however you may fit more or less depending on the size of the air fryer.
    • You may have to do 2-3 batches in the air fryer. Do not overcrowd or they will not get crispy.

  • Close the Air Fryer and set to 400 degrees and 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, open the basket and carefully flip the french toast sticks. Close the air fryer and cook 3-4 more minutes at 400 degrees.
    • Time may vary slightly depending in air fryer model.
  • Remove the french toast sticks when finished and then cook remaining air fryer french toast sticks.
  • Serve with warm maple syrup and powdered sugar or your favorite toppings!

How to Freeze Fryer French Toast Sticks:

  • Let the french toast sticks cool completely. Place them into a freezer safe bag, then squeeze out remaining air and seal the bag. Place into the freezer. Keep for up to 6 months frozen.

How to re-heat frozen french toast sticks in the Air Fryer:

  • Remove the frozen french toast sticks from the bag. Place in the air fryer and cook for 3 minutes at 400 degrees. Flip over and cook another 2 minutes.
  • Top with your favorite toppings or serve with maple syrup and enjoy!

These Ginger Soy Chicken thighs are made in one skillet and simmered in the most delicious asian sauce. This 20 minute meal is perfect for dinner!

This One Skillet Ginger Soy Chicken dinner is perfect for those busy weeknights when you have no time to cook. It's great because you can make a quick 20 minute meal that the whole family will love, and you can feel good about feeding it to them. Not only are these Ginger Soy Chicken thighs healthy, but they are juicy, easy to make, and delicious!

Using only one skillet is key when making a quick dinner. I make both the chicken and the sauce in the same skillet, and you only end up dirtying one extra plate when you remove the chicken from the skillet. If you aren't fond of chicken thighs (you should be, they are so juicy!), then go ahead and make this which chicken breasts, or you can use bite size chicken pieces as well. Just adjust your cooking time to make sure the chicken is completely cooked through!

How to make Ginger Soy Chicken:

  • Season tops and bottoms of chicken with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil, then the chicken thighs. Cook about 5 minutes and then flip to opposite side, cooking 4-5 more minutes or until cooked through.
  • Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add preserves, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, and red pepper flakes and whisk to combine. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for about 2 minutes, then add chopped green onions, whisking to combine. Simmer 2 more minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened.
  • Add chicken back to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top, cooking about 30 seconds. Serve immediately and enjoy!

There are several ways you can serve Ginger Soy Chicken:

  • Serve the chicken over white or brown rice. Use your Instant Pot to make perfect rice in record time!
  • I like to serve Ginger Soy Chicken with quinoa if you are feeling extra healthy, and a side of green beans. My favorite are my Copycat PF Chang's Spicy Green Beans. 
  • Serve this one pot meal with a delicious side of Air Fryer Crab Rangoon!
  • You could also do this as a complete stir fry meal. Cut your chicken into bite sized pieces and cook for a few minutes, then add vegetables like chopped bell peppers, broccoli, sugar snap peas, and onions and continue cooking until all the way cooked through. Push it all to the side and then make your sauce. Serve it all over rice, or just plain as a stir fry bowl. I have a similar 20 minute Chicken Stir Fry meal too.

Ginger Soy Chicken (One Skillet)

These Ginger Soy Chicken thighs are made in one skillet and simmered in the most delicious asian sauce. This 20 minute meal is perfect for dinner!

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs skinless boneless chicken thighs
  • ½ TBS olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ cup apricot or orange preserves
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (2 cloves minced)
  • ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 inch knob fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3 stalks green onions, chopped
Instructions
  1. Season tops and bottoms of chicken with salt and pepper. 

  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil, then the chicken thighs. Cook about 5 minutes and then flip to opposite side, cooking 4-5 more minutes or until cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add preserves, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, and red pepper flakes; whisk to combine. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for about 2 minutes, then add chopped green onions, whisking to combine. Simmer 2 more minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened.

  • You can also make this using chicken breast, just adjust cooking time so the chicken is cooked all the way through. You can also cut the breasts into bite sized pieces reducing the amount of time to cook through (about 5-7 minutes).
