This Slow Cooker Beef Stew is one of those recipes that you can also feel free to alter the vegetables. Want to use sweet potatoes in place of regular potatoes, go ahead. Don't like celery? Leave it out. This recipe is versatile so you can make it to your liking.

How to Make Slow Cooker Beef Stew:

- Prep all the vegetables and the beef.
- Add all of the beef, vegetables, broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
- Close the lid, set the slow cooker and cook.
- When the time is up, whisk together the cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl, then add it to the stew and stir to combine. Add the frozen peas. Close the lid and cook for 30 more minutes on high.
How to Freeze:
- Allow the soup to cool completely. Add to a freezer safe ziplock or freezer safe container. Place into the freezer for up to 4 months.
- To defrost: Place in the refrigerator overnight to defrost.
- To cook: Cook in the microwave or stovetop to reheat.

- 1 ½ ;bs boneless beef chuck roast, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 3 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cubed into small bite size pieces
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 ½ cups chopped carrots
- 10 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 celery rib, chopped
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 2 TBS Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ cup cornstarch
- ½ cup cold water
- 2 cup frozen peas

Using at least a 6qt slow cooker, add all of the ingredients except the cornstarch, water, and peas. Close the lid, set on low, and cook for 7 hours.

When the time is up, add water and cornstarch to a bowl and mix to combine. Add the mixture to the slow cooker and stir to combine. Add the frozen peas to the slow cooker. Close the lid and then set to high and cook for 30 minutes.

Remove lid and serve warm.
