Using the air fryer allows the wings to get super crispy without actually frying them. Once you try this method, you will never cook wings another way. Making wings in the Air Fryer couldn't be easier! Let me explain it...
Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings in the Air Fryer:

- First prep the chicken wings.
- If you have full wings, separate them into drums and flat.
- Make sure they are defrosted.
- Pat them completely dry (this will help them get crispy) with a paper towel.
- Using a large bowl, add olive oil, lemon juice, zest, lemon pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Add the wings and toss to coat completely.
- Optional: cover the bowl with cling wrap and refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.
- Preheat the Air Fryer at 400 F degrees for 2 minutes.
- Add the wings in a single layer to the air fryer (they should NOT be touching), and cook for 10 minutes at 400 F degrees.
- After the timer goes off, open and carefully flip over the chicken wings.
- Close the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 6-8 minutes (the internal temp should reach 165 degrees).
- Remove the lemon pepper chicken wings and serve with your favorite side dishes or dips!

How to Bake Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings:

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Follow the directions of the air fryer wings up until the cooking portion.
- Cover a baking sheet with parchment or foil. Transfer chicken wings to parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes on one side.
- Turn the chicken wings over to the other side, bake for another 10 minutes.
- Remove the finished wings from the oven.
What to serve with these lemon pepper chicken wings:
- Serve with your favorite dips such as Cilantro Lime Dip, Jalapeno Ranch, The Best Chunky Blue Cheese, or Homemade Buffalo Sauce.

How to reheat the wings in the air fryer:
Add the left over wings back to the air fryer and cook for 3 minutes at 380 degrees. Flip over and cook another 3-4 minutes or until heated through.

- 2 lbs chicken wings, separated into drums and flats

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 ½ teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- ⅓ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
