Having a picky eater is one of the toughest things about being a parent. Some people say, ‘just don’t give them anything else, they won’t starve themselves!’ But, I guess those people haven’t met my son, because he will just not eat…for days…if we don’t give him something he likes.  Lately he has gotten a little bit better because now he understands rewards and knows if he eats new foods he will get a sticker on his reward chart.  He still refuses to eat most vegetables though, so Nestle Outshine Fruit & Veggie Bars are great way to sneak in some vegetables.  The new Fruit and Veggie bars feature five refreshing flavors, including: Blueberry Medley, Tangerine Carrot, Apple and Greens, Peach Mango Medley and Strawberry Rhubarb.

My son loves them all. Literally, he has tried them all and he loves them.

As a parent I love that they are made from a blend of fruit and vegetable purees and juices, with each bar containing at least 25% vegetables, an excellent source of Vitamin C, and no high fructose corn syrup. The Tangerine Carrot is also an excellent source of Vitamins A and K.

Outshine Fruit & Veggie bars have no artificial colors or flavors, as well as being gluten free and low calorie (2.5 oz bars are just 60 calories and the 1.5 oz bars, in the variety pack, are only 35-40 calories each).

I love that these are such a healthy snack that my son thinks is a big treat! He is enjoying Strawberry Rhubarb and has no idea!

Have you tried the new Outshine Fruit & Veggie Bars? Which is your favorite flavor?
