Ingredients for Fudge:
- sweetened condensed milk - make sure you get sweetened, this is important.
- white chocolate chips - you can use chocolate chips, white baking chocolate, or candy melts
- sugar cookie mix - can be fund in the baking aisle, such as Betty Crocker brand
- unsalted butter
- vanilla extract
- Christmas sprinkles - use sprinkle sugar or actual holiday sprinkles.
How to make Sugar Cookie Fudge:
- Using a saucepan, add in the sweetened condensed milk and heat over medium heat until hot, stirring often. Once hot, add in the white chocolate, sugar cookie mix, butter, and vanilla extract.
- Continue stirring until everything has melted and the fudge mixture is smooth. It is very important to stir consistently as the fudge mixture is quick to burn.
- Once smooth, pour into a prepared 9x9 baking dish.
- Sprinkle the sprinkles of your choice over the top and place into the fridge for at least 3 hours to allow the fudge to fully set.
- Once set, remove from the fridge. Remove the fudge from the dish and cut into 36 pieces.
How to store fudge:
Place the fudge in an airtight container. Leave on the counter for up to 3 days, or refrigerate up to 2-3 weeks.
Can you freeze fudge?
Yes. Store the fudge in a freezer safe container or bag. Freeze for up to 3 months.
How to defrost: Changing temperatures too rapidly can have undesirable effects on texture and flavor, so keep the frozen fudge in the plastic bag/container and thaw in the refrigerator.
