These Garlic Parmesan chicken wings are full of flavor and super easy to make! I typically make them in the air fryer, because it is super quick and gets the wings incredibly crispy, but you can also bake them in the oven if you don't have an air fryer.
These wings are a game-day staple alongside these traditional Air Fryer Chicken Wings, Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings, Air Fryer Buffalo Wings and Air Fryer Chicken Tenders!
Using the air fryer allows them to get super crispy without actually frying them. Once you try this method, you will never cook wings another way. Serve these with Air Fryer French Fries or Instant Pot Corn on the Cob for the perfect meal!
Making wings in the Air Fryer couldn't be easier! Let me explain it...
How to make Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings:

- First prep the chicken wings.
- If you have full wings, separate them into drums and flat.
- Make sure they are defrosted.
- Pat them dry completely dry (this will help them get crispy).
- Get all the ingredients for the chicken wings together.
- Place the wings into a bowl and add garlic, salt, spices, and olive oil. Toss to completely coat the wings.
- Preheat the Air Fryer at 400 F degrees for 2 minutes.
- Add the wings in a single layer to the air fryer (they should NOT be touching), and cook for 10 minutes at 400 F degrees.
- After the timer goes off, open and carefully flip over the chicken wings.
- Close the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 8 minutes.
- Place the cooked wings in a bowl, pour over the melted butter and add the grated parmesan. Toss to coat each piece with Parmesan and butter. Serve the air fryer garlic parmesan chicken wings right away.
How to make Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings (in the oven):

- Get all the ingredients together.
- Preheat the oven to 400F. Place the wings into a bowl and add garlic, salt, spices, and olive oil. Toss to completely coat the wings.
- Cover the baking sheet with parchment or foil. Transfer chicken wings to parchment and bake for 30 minutes on one side.
- After 30 minutes, flip them over to the other side and bake for another 15 minutes, then remove them from the oven.
- Place the cooked wings in a bowl, pour over the melted butter and add the grated parmesan. Toss to coat each piece with Parmesan and butter. Serve the baked garlic parmesan chicken wings right away.
What to serve with Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings:
- Serve with a side of corn on the cob - Instant Pot Corn on the Cob or Air Fryer Corn on the Cob is always a hit!

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon minced garlic

- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
