My favorite trick to making a delicious dinner is Barber Foods® Stuffed Chicken Breasts! My favorite side dish to pair them with lately is sweet potatoes. Using the Air Fryer to make these delicious, crispy sweet potatoes is so easy! Pair them with a small salad and Barber Foods Cordon Bleu Stuffed Chicken Breasts, and you have the easiest and tastiest dinner! Since the Barber Foods Cordon Bleu Stuffed Chicken Breasts (found at Publix in the frozen poultry section) have no prep work and go straight from the freezer to oven, they make the perfect easy dinner protein.
Using the Air Fryer to make these sweet potatoes is also super simple! No Air Fryer, no problem! I will give baking directions below as well. These sweet potatoes are healthy and majorly delicious much like Air Fryer Roasted Broccoli or Air Fryer Avocado Fries.
How to make Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes:
*Scroll down for full ingredient list and directions**
- I suggest using medium sized sweet potatoes in the Air Fryer.
- Prep the sweet potatoes by washing the skin free of any dirt and then poke holes in the potatoes with a fork. Drizzle olive oil and salt over the sweet potatoes, then rub the oil all over the potatoes.
- Place the sweet potatoes into the Air Fryer. Set the air fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit and 35 minutes. After 25 minutes open the Air Fryer and carefully (using tongs) flip the potatoes over. Cook the remaining 10 minutes. If your potatoes are larger, you may need more time. Check if they are fork tender, if not, cook for 3 minute increments until tender.
- Remove carefully and serve with your favorite toppings!
How to BAKE Sweet Potatoes:
- Use the same directions in terms of prepping the sweet potatoes.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add oil and salt to the potatoes, then rub all over. Place them on a baking sheet and place them into the preheated oven. Cook for 40 minutes and check if they are fork tender. Depending on the size, you may need to bake 10-15 more minutes.
