I love this dressing so much! It's so simple and easy to throw together and tastes even better fresh like this than the kind you get in a bottle. Plus, I love knowing what's going into it. We didn't have strawberries but I made an apple salad and used this and it was delicious.

I had to make only half the recipe because I didn't have enough mayo. Then I substituted one packet of Splenda for the sugar. It was AMAZING!

So happy to hear you enjoyed it!

I'm pre diabetic, so i replaced the 2/3rds cup sugar with 2/3rd cup of SWERVE Confectionery sugar, its perfect!!! Thank you, poppy seed is my favorite and now i can eat it on my salad without the guilt. Lol love it.
Brenda says
The salad was a huge hit with this dressing. I only used half the amount of sugar and it was delicious.
Kimmie says
I made this, but thinking I might make it with half-and-half next time to make it just a little thicker
Allyson says
Did you let the dressing sit in the fridge? It definitely gets thicker as it sets. If you still want it thicker, I would add more mayo...more liquid (even half and half) will thin it more. Cheers!
Julie says
Wondering if you can use Greek Yogurt in place of the Mayo?
Allyson says
I haven't tried that so I am not 100% sure. You can give it a try and let me know!
