Can I use coconut milk?
Allyson says
You can, but it won't have the same flavor since coconut cream has sugar in it. It will be a much thinner liquid mixture.
Katie says
Hi! What brand coconut cream do you use. The link isn’t working! Thanks!
Allyson says
I like to use this one: https://amzn.to/48SC4VE - but any thicker sweeter coconut cream should work 🙂
Dean says
I’m glad I saw your recommendation. I was about to buy coconut cream but saw that you meant cream of coconut which is a totally different product.
Theresa Faulkner Pyle says
I'd like to make a big batch of these. Is it essential that they all be in one layer or could I make extra "juice" to make sure they all soak up some goodness?
Allyson says
You could make a big batch I would just make it in something that you can mix it around every few hours to make sure they are all getting some juice 🙂
LINDA says
I make these occasionally in the summer when we have guests over. They are always a hit! I serve them in half of a fresh pineapple that has been scooped out. It's beautiful and delicious!!

That is SUCH a great idea! Stealing that the next time I serve them!
