Making the perfect shrimp is easy with the air fryer. I like to serve these shrimp in low carb wraps, salads, or over vegetables! They are so versatile, and the seasoning can be changed to your liking. Done in less than 10 minutes, these Air Fryer Shrimp are great for busy weeknights.

Serve these shrimp alongside Air Fryer Roasted Asparagus, Air Fryer Roasted Carrots, or Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes for the perfect meal!

How to make the Perfect Air Fryer Shrimp:

  • Using defrosted, large shrimp- make sure they are deveined and I like to take the tails off (this is options). Place the shrimp in a bowl, then pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Add olive oil to the bowl as well as the seasonings, and toss to coat the shrimp evenly.

  • Add the shrimp to the air fryer basket in a single layer to allow them to cook evenly.

  • Set the air fryer to 400 degrees and cook for 6 minutes, shaking halfway through cooking.
  • Remove immediately from the air fryer and serve with lemon wedges or in your favorite meal.

What seasoning blend to use on the shrimp:

I like to use the same popular seasoning blend that I use for my Air Fryer Chicken Wings, but you can also use a cajun seasoning, lime citrus marinade, or whatever your favorite seasoning blend might be. I also really enjoy these Old Bay Seasoned Shrimp!

  • 1 lb peeled, deveined large shrimp defrosted and tails removed
  • 1 TBS olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
