This One Skillet Beef & Broccoli is a delicious healthy take on the classic popular take-out dish. The best part? It only takes 20 minutes to cook up!
If you are looking for a recipe that is quick, easy, and delicious, I have the perfect meal for you. This One Skillet Beef & Broccoli comes together in just 20 minutes and has a punch of flavor that will take care of your take-out craving. The best part about making this at home? The cost! It’s much cheaper to make your food at home rather than order out, and you know exactly what is going into it!
If you really want to bulk up this recipe, I suggest adding more veggies! Slices carrots, zucchini, even eggplant would all be great. The sauce base is delicious and would be tasty on any Chinese inspired meal. I recommend letting the beef marinate for a bit before cooking, but it’s not needed if you don’t have time. This One Skillet Beef & Broccoli comes out great!

Allyson, what is the cornstarch for? This is the first time I see it outside of baking. My boyfriend cannot have corn so I will leave it out. The presentation is on point and looks delightful. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Sophie, The cornstarch is for thickening the sauce. If you don't mind the sauce being on the thinner side (still tasty), then just leave that and the bit of water at the end out. It should be delicious still, just a little thinner. Would be great with rice or quinoa!

Allyson, this looks like an awesome replacement instead of ordering takeout, which gets loaded with who knows what. How many servings do you get out of this? It looks like at least a few based on the amount of steak?
Allyson
Thanks Deb - yes, you should get at least 4 servings from this. Enjoy!
