Air Fryer Avocado Fries are creamy and crunchy without any oily mess! With only a handful of ingredients, these are the perfect healthy snack or appetizer!
Cut the fresh avocados in half, then remove the pit. Cut into 4-5 thicker slices per half, and use a spoon to scrape the back of the skin to remove the avocado flesh.
Setup an assembly line: shallow bowl with flour, shallow bowl with egg (beaten) + 1 TBS water, shallow bowl with panko breadcrumbs + seasonings, and sliced avocados on a plate.
Dredge the avocado carefully in flour, then dip it into the egg wash covering it completely. Let the extra egg drip off, then toss into panko mixture, pressure mixture against avocado to coat. Repeat for all avocado slices.
Using the Air Fryer, place the avocado fries into the basket in an even layer. Lightly spray the tops with olive oil spray.
Set the air fryer to 400 degrees and 4 minutes. When the time is up, remove the basket and carefully flip the avocado fries over. Insert basket back into air fryer and then set for 400 degrees for 2 more minutes.
Remove and top with chopped cilantro and sprinkle parmesan cheese. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce such as Zax Sauce, BIG MAC SAUCE, or Cilantro Lime Dip!
Makes about 4 servings.
