Making brats in the air fryer is fast and easy! Done in less than 15 minutes, these Air Fryer Brats are a quick and tasty meal!

The air fryer is a game changer because everything cooks more quickly and it gives a nice crispiness to some food. Brats in the air fryer get nice and taught on the outside, yet stay moist and flavorful on the inside.
Serve these brats with your favorite buns and all the fixings; I like sauerkraut and spicy mustard, but the options are endless. I love making a delicious Simple Wedge Salad, Dill Pickle Pasta Salad, or French Fries to serve alongside the air fryer brats!

It's so easy! Add the brats to the air fryer basket, then close and cook. I like to flip them over halfway so that they cook evenly.

Check the internal temperature of the brats using a meat thermometer and make sure it is at least 160 degrees fahrenheit. Remove the brats carefully and serve immediately.

The air fryer brats can be served by themselves, or you can load them up with toppings! I like to load them up and then serve them with some of my favorite side dishes...
The best sides to go with brats:
- Caprese Potato Salad with Creamy Pesto
- Tortellini Pasta Salad
- Dill Pickle Pasta Salad
- Air Fryer French Fries (homemade)
- Instant Pot Loaded Mashed Potatoes (slow cooker and stovetop directions)
- Simple Wedge Salad

I find it's useful to turn down the temp just a bit when cooking these in the air fryer. That way they don't split open!
Allyson says
Yes! that is exactly why this recipe calls for 370 degrees! I usually use 400 for most things, but keeping the juices inside the brats is important!
