My few favorites for this year are definitely the DIY ROMPER STOMPER, DIY BARBIE, and DIY PRICE IS RIGHT COSTUMES, but I love the rest as well!

DIY SQUID GAME COSTUME: This is actually very easy! Just get some red sweatpants and a red sweatshirt, black gloves, and a black facemask and paint your symbol on the front using paint! For the player, you need all green clothing, a white undershirt, and add the players numbers to the jacket - EASY!
DIY LEGO COSTUME - all you need for this is a recycled box, solo cups, spray paint, and a halloween candy bucket!
DIY KAREN COSTUME: Out favorite person, LOL! I made this last year as a last minute costume and it was EASY! Print out the phrase using a vinyl letter cutting machine, or you can buy iron on letters from the craft store. I reused a Starbucks cup and wrote the name Karen on it, and then put a Karen name tag! Would be cute to get a blonde bob wig too, but I didn't have time for that! This was a HUGE hit!
ROMPER STOMPER! This viral tiktok video went crazy in August 2023, so this is perfect timing for this iconic costume! All you need is a Denim Romper and White Cowgirl Boots!
👻 EASY DIY KYLIE JENNER HALLOWEEN COSTUME!!! Get this lion mask and put it on your shoulder, then wear a black dress! EASY!
EASY WEDNESDAY ADDAMS HALLOWEEN COSTUME!!!! All you need is the dress: - this look is great because your hair is UP so you dont need a wig!
DIY Astronaut Costume (works for babies or adults) - All you need is a jumpsuit and either iron on patches or you can even print these images from the internet and attach them to the body suit using some spray adhesive if you are at the VERY last minute!
This Spaghetti and Parmesan Cheese is such a cute couples costume! This one takes a few more supplies, but a quick trip to your craft store and you will have everything!
DIY KING AND QUEEN OF HEARTS/DECK OF CARDS: We did the King and Queen of Hearts costumes a few years ago and it's a big hit! If you have kids, you could also add them to your deck of cards as well! This only takes a white shirt, red or black fabric paint, and some printed off images to stencil! Takes about half a day to dry, so make sure you do it the day before you need it!
DIY PASTA COSTUMES: I couldn't find a source for this one, but it looks easy enough! Grab some felt fabric from the craft store and cut out the shapes, bind the middle of the pasta for a farfalle shape. Dress in all white or nude clothes!
This DIY Brawny Man costume is SO CUTE and So easy! All you need is a red and black flannel shirt and a mustache! Renate shared this on her Instagram and I loved it!
DIY NO SEW GARDEN GNOME COSTUME: You only need a handful of things which can all be found at the local craft store! This is super cute and no sewing involved!
DIY BACHELORETTE COSTUME: Grab a fancy dress, some roses, and you are good to go! This literally could not be easier! You could also do this for a man, just dress in a suit and carry some roses around as well!
DIY PRICE IS RIGHT COSTUMES: This is super easy! Grab some different colored shirts, then use posterboard to make the price labels as well as the name tags! Great for a group or individual!
DIY WHERE'S WALDO COSTUME: This is super easy and can work for adults of children! You need a striped shirt, glasses, beanie, and camera - good to go!
DIY FROSE COSTUME: Perfect for all the Frose lovers out there! This is really easy and all you need is a dress, shower curtain, headband, paper towel roll and some paint!
DIY JEDI COSTUMES: These are literally SUPER easy! All you need is some fabric! No sewing involved and can work for kids or adults!
DIY UPS DELIVERY MAN COSTUME: No sewing involved with this one either! Grab a brown shirt, khaki pants, a box, hat, and print out the UPS logo - EASY!
DIY IT'S RAINING MEN COSTUME: Grab an umbrella, print out a bunch of men's pictures, then attach them to the umbrella using fishing line and hot glue! Wear a trench coat or rain jacket to make it even more fun!
DIY HOT DOG/KETCHUP/MUSTARD: These are so simple and also take no sewing! Pickup the fabric from your local craft store and make the hats out of paper products and then paint them! EASY!
DIY STARBUCKS DRINK AND DIY STARBUCKS BARISTA COSTUMES: This is actually super easy! You can use a toilet paper roll for the straw, order the green apron off Amazon, get a fur boa, and then print off the Starbucks logos and attach them!
DIY SMARTY PANTS COSTUME: EASY! Dress up cute and then attach some smarties candies to your pants using hot glue of tape! It can't get easier than this!
DIY GRANDMA COSTUME: All you need for this is some grandma type clothing, a grey wig (or hair color spray), a walker or cane, and some grandma accessories! This is easy peasy!
DIY ET COSTUME: Grab a red hoodie, a bike, a basket from the dollar tree and zip tie it! Don't have the ET stuffed animal? Just print out a picture of the face and wedge it into a blanket!
DIY MEAN GIRLS COSTUME: This one is super easy and hilarious! All you need is a purple hoodie, sunglasses, and a recycled box to make the sign!
DIY GHOST COSTUME FOR PETS: Don't forget about the furry friends! Cit a few holes out of some white fabric for an easy DIY GHOST COSTUME!
DIY TARGET EMPLOYEE: This is ADORABLE! It works for kids or adults, but is definitely citer for kids! It's pretty self explanatory and you can use a Little Tykes shopping cart and attach a Target print out to the sides!
DIY FRUIT SALAD or INDIVIDUAL FRUITS: Me and my friends made this one a few years ago and it was easy and cheap! Grab the color shirt you need at the craft store or Walmart and some craft paint. We also used card-stock/poster-board to make the head toppers, and then attached them to a headband! This was an easy hit!
DIY BURGLAR ROBBER COSTUME: I made this a few years ago and it was simple! Wear black pants, a black and white striped shirt, a beanie, some gloves, and I made a face mask by cutting an old black shirt and then cutting eye holes in it! This was perfect, comfortable, and only took a few minutes!
DIY LEOPARD/CHEETAH/CAT COSTUME: Pick the animal and then dress in the print of the fur! Grab a cute ear headband and add some face paint to match the animal! This is EASY!
DIY PACMAN COSTUMES: We made these last year for a big group and they were so cute! Grab the colored shirts, cut the bottoms. Use felt to make the eyes and blue paint for the pupils. DIY ICE ICE BABY COSTUMES: This is so cute and funny! All you need is some plastic, bags, and a vinyl cutting machine or permanent markers!
DIY COOKIE MONSTER COSTUME: This can work for kids or adults! You need a little more time to prepare this one, but it really only takes a few things including a blue tutu skirt!
DIY EMOJI COSTUME: This is so simple and great for a group! No group, just do you favorite emoji! All you need for this is a yellow shirt, and some felt fabric to cutout or a vinyl cutting machine to make the eyes/mouths. It's simple!
DIY BEER PONG COSTUMES: This one is simple too, you need a shirt, some solo cups and either hot or fabric glue! Super cute for college kids!
DIY TARZAN COSTUME: All you need for this is one piece of brown fabric that you can make look a bit dirty! Add brown body paint for a dirty look! This works for kids or adult men!
DIY BEANIE BABY COSTUMES! Just print off the TY label and attach it! For a baby use a cuddly one piece PJ or outfit! This is super easy!
DIY TACO BELL HOT SAUCE PACKETS: This was pretty easy and we used it last year as a costume! I used white felt and then wrote out the phrases with black permeant marker on the felt. Then I attached them with hot glue. I used a vinyl cutting machine to make the FIRE and HOT letters, but you could also use fabric paint for this. Cheap and super cute!
DIY GLOW STICK COSTUME: Wear all black clothing, then attach glow sticks (from the Dollar Store). This couldn't be easier or cheaper!
