"These are so fun! My kids LOVED changing it up and dyeing the eggs using this method! It was so easy and I didn't have to worry about spilling cups full of colored liquid!" - Reader Comment

INGREDIENTS:

– hard boiled eggs - gel food coloring - cool whip OR - - shaving cream

STEP 1

Using a muffin tin, load up each hole with shaving cream or cool whip. Add a few drops of gel food coloring over the top.  Using a toothpick, lightly swirl the color around.

TIP:

Don't mix it up too much otherwise you won’t have a big color contrast on your eggs.

STEP 2

Next, place the hard boiled eggs into each hole and lightly press down! Leave the eggs here for about 10 minutes and then carefully flip them over. Leave another 10 minutes.

STEP 3

Lightly rinse off. Set on a paper towel or kitchen towel to dry.

TIP: Use GEL FOOD COLORING. This type of coloring is much more vibrant than a regular food coloring.
