No-Bake Honey Bunches of Oats Treat Bars - a super easy, super delicious no bake treat!

I am SO excited to share this easy recipe with y’all today, because typically I don’t share that many dessert recipes, and this one is one for the books! Not only is is delicious and easy to make, but you don’t even have to bake it…that’s right NO BAKING! That means you don’t have to heat up your kitchen with the oven, and these bad boys pretty much come together on their own. They are majorly delicious, and the Honey Bunches of Oats® cereal really adds a nice crunch and flavor to the treat bars! You HAVE to try these!

First off, you have to pick up some Honey Bunches of Oats® with Crispy Almonds Cereal; you’re in luck because there is a coupon right now and you can get $1 off! After you have the cereal, you only need a handful of ingredients: peanut butter, maple syrup, sugar, and chocolate (chips, block, whatever). It’s super simple and only takes a few minutes to melt the peanut butter, mix in the syrup, sugar, and then add the cereal. Then you press it all into a baking dish, melt the chocolate, and pour it over the top. Pop it in the fridge and let it harden up- voila!

I have made these twice now in the last week, because everyone LOVES them! No one believes when I tell them how easy they are, and that there is no baking involved! These No-Bake Honey Bunches of Oats Treat Bars are the bomb! It makes my life easier, and the kids are so happy eating them. I either cut them into bars or little granola bar-type rectangular pieces; both are great. I do suggest keeping them in the fridge when you aren’t eating or serving them.

My oldest son loves when I pack these as a treat in his lunchbox. It feels good to know he has a big smile when he sees them in there at lunch, however, if your child’s school has strict peanut butter rules, you could use soy butter in this recipe too! Head over to Post’s website to get your $1 off Honey Bunches of Oats® Cereal Coupon and make these today!

  • ⅔ cups syrup
  • ⅔ cups white granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces baking chocolate

Hey - these look great - and I love my kids eating oats. Would they work without the chocolate topping or does that hold them together also?
    Thanks - Bec

It holds them a bit together, but as long as you keep them in the fridge they should stay together without it. They were sticky, but definitely staying together. Good luck!
