In a medium bowl add cottage cheese, colby jack cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, and mix well to combine. Fill each jalapeno half with the filling.
Place into the air fryer. Cook at 375 degrees for 5 minutes.
Open the air fryer and the sprinkle the panko breadcrumbs over the tops of the poppers, and sprinkle the chopped bacon. Close the air fryer and cook 2-3 more minutes or until the breadcrumbs are lightly toasted.
Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Place the poppers on a baking sheet, then place into the oven. Cook for 12 minutes then carefully remove from oven and top with breadcrumbs and bacon.
Cook for 5 more minutes or until the crumbs are crispy. Serve the high protein jalapeno poppers immediately.
