The Battery Atlanta is home to SunTrust Park and the Braves. There are so many holiday activities between The onUp Experience and The Battery this winter!

Last week, I was so excited to visit Santa’s North Pole at The onUp Experience, and attend the annual tree lighting ceremony at The Battery Atlanta! The activities were plentiful and my whole family had a delightful time. I can’t wait to share the details about the event, and all that is planned for this holiday season!

My family, especially my two boys, had been looking forward to seeing Santa for the last few months, so when I told them we would get to see him at his ‘honorary North Pole’ at The onUp Experience, they were thrilled. I also explained there would be lots of other fun activities going on, and that we would get to see the annual Christmas Tree Lighting right outside of SunTrust Park!

You may remember when I visited the SunTrust Park and The onUp Experience last year, which was so eye opening and a great experience! If you don’t recall, The onUp Experience at the Battery Atlanta is an entertainment center where visitors can enjoy fun, engaging and educational activities. This holiday season, it will again serve as Santa’s North Pole. The onUp Experience is really interesting because not only is it fun, but it’s full of valuable information to help you achieve ffinancial confidence! The onUp Experience brings financial tools to baseball fans visiting SunTrust Park and the Battery Atlanta, while keeping the vibe fun and active. As a financial well-being center, visitors at The onUp Experience learn about how to achieve financial confidence. It’s named after The onUp Movement, which is movement started by SunTrust to provide resources to help people take steps toward financial confidence so they can enjoy the moments that matter.

Once you enter The onUp Experience, you create a draft ID complete with your photo. This is your ticket to access for the rest of the fun activities within the center. This even includes a virtual reality station where you can ‘tour’ SunTrust Park, which my boys went crazy over! They also have a fun area where you can ‘play’ baseball with the pros!

In addition to the everyday interactive activities, Santa is stationed here with the cutest setup for free photos with a few elves roaming around as well! This is by far the most gorgeous Santa setup I’ve seen, AND you get FREE photos! How awesome is that?!

After we played around and learned more about financial confidence at The onUp Experience, we headed to the Christmas Tree Lighting. They had a fun little show before the lighting and also a guest appearance by a Braves baseball player (my kids loved that!), and then a countdown for the tree lighting!

The Christmas Tree is absolutely gorgeous and you should make a point to go see it if you are local! There are TONS of events going on at The onUp Experience at SunTrust Park as well. You can see the whole schedule here! You can also see a fun light show by the Christmas Tree every night from 6pm-9pm, so make sure not to miss that!

SunTrust has been able to combine an interactive sports experience with learning valuable tools to gain financial confidence. It’s amazing what they have done, and how they have weaved the two together, but they have really put together an amazing space! If you are in the area, I highly recommend checking it and the Battery out! Make sure you visit The onUp Experience online and find out for yourself how to get control of your finances and move toward financial confidence! Join the movement and start building your financial confidence today.
