Hi guys! I'm excited to be with you today here at Domestic Superhero! When I was talking to Allyson about what to share with you, we decided on a printable. Who doesn't love a free printable? Well, the same week I sent my boys off to school (1st and 3rd grade), I saw a picture of Allyson with her two small boys and it made me think about how quickly time flies! When you're in the middle of the tiny people madness, I know it's hard. I thought this printable was a great reminder to take a minute and enjoy them - whether they're babies or school aged!
I have this free printable for you, but I'm also going to show you how to make it just a little more fun with a DIY mat I made from wrapping paper!
I had this old frame and mat in a closet, so I pulled it out to give it a second chance. (And no, I did not throw out my treasured Ozzie Smith photo and autographed heart. He's been with me since the 4th grade!)

For this project, I used:
- frame & mat
- wrapping paper
- spray glue
- exacto knife
- ruler
- Let Them Be Little printable

Spray the glue outside. This stuff gets everywhere (and you don't want sticky floors)! I sprayed the glue all over the front of the mat.

Put the glue side down of the mat on the back of your wrapping paper. My wrapping paper had lines, which made things even easier! Then, you cut along the sides of the mat with your exact knife - you can use a ruler to help if needed. Make sure you cut on something - I had a piece of cardboard underneath everything.
After the cutting is over, turn it over and you should have a fun new mat!
I have my print in my playroom. To see more of my playroom, you can click HERE.
