Today we have an awesome tutorial from Amy, the blogger behind several fantastic blogs! I love all her creative crafts and these rings are so cute and easy to make! Let's take a look.....

Ring DetailHello! I'm Amy from Mod Podge Rocks - decoupage blogger extraordinaire. I also blog at Washi Tape Crafts and DIY Candy, so you could say I'm a little busy . . . but hey, I love it! I'm thrilled to be here sharing my Dimensional Magic ring tutorial with you. If you've never made a ring with Dimensional Magic, you're missing out. They are so easy, make great gifts, and of course you can customize to your entire summer wardrobe in just a matter of minutes. And that is what I love about handmade jewelry - I can have exactly what I want! Here's how these fun rings are made.

Ring Details

Gather These Supplies
Ring blanks – purchased at Michaels
Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
Martha Stewart Microbeads – shown in Peridot and Blue Topaz
Embellishments – I used Making Memories Deco Brads – Shimmer and With Love Flower Brads

Keep in mind that if you don’t have the microbeads, you can use paper – just cut it to fit and stick it down in there with Mod Podge. Okay, so here we go.

ring blanksGet some ring blanks from your local craft store. They are pretty inexpensive.

IMG_4106Find a place to secure your ring blank and add a thin layer of Dimensional Magic to the bottom. Note – never shake your Dimensional Magic bottle. It adds bubbles.

IMG_4107Shake some beads into the Dimensional Magic. Let it dry and then dump off excess beads. If you haven’t filled the ring blank, repeat (you can layer Dimensional Magic).

IMG_4108Add another layer of Dimensional Magic on top of your beads and then stick in the embellishment. Let dry in a warm place (NOT under a fan) for several hours. You’re done! Repeat with as many rings as possible.

More RingCan you believe it’s that easy to have cute jewelry?

Come visit me at Mod Podge Rocks any time for more jewelry and Dimensional Magic fun - and of course, you can find on Pinterest as well. Happy crafting!
