1. Melt half of the butter (¼ cup) in large sauce pan over low heat. Add 4 cups of marshmallows and stir until melted and well-blended. Cook 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
2. Add several drops of green food coloring, mix.
3. Add 5 cups cereal. Stir until well coated.
4. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly and firmly in buttered 13 x 9 inch pan.
5. Repeat steps 1-3, using blue food coloring.
6. Press blue rice crispy layer flat on top of the green layer. Press firmly.
