Making Air Fryer French Fries is easy, healthy, and quick! With a fraction of the oil and no frying, these will be a staple side dish recipe.
Fill a bowl with ice and water. Place the sliced potatoes into the ice bath and swish them around a bit. Let the potato slices soak for 30 minutes. Remove the slices, and using a clean kitchen towel pat them completely dry.
Set the air fryer to 400 degrees and 8 minutes. When the time is up, shake around the fries, then close the air fryer and cook 6-8 more minutes at 400 degrees. Check after 6 minutes, and add additional time for desired crispiness.
Remove from the air fryer and serve with your favorite sauce.
