Niki from HomeMadeville is sharing an unconventional recipe for a turkey burger with a Greek spin! I do love me some feta cheese! Here it is!
Hi Everyone. I am so excited to be guest posting for Allyson at Domestic Superhero. Speaking of super heroes…I want to share my Greek Turkey Burger recipe which is the Hercules of healthy eating. The ground turkey is seasoned to perfection and paired with accompaniments that pack a punch in every bite.
Ingredients For Burger: 1 lb. Ground Turkey 2 tablespoon Tiger Sauce ½ teaspoon Poultry Seasoning 1 teaspoon Parsley ½ teaspoon Salt 1 dash Pepper 1 tablespoon Canola Oil for the pan Accompaniments: Fresh Spinach Dried Cranberries Crumbled Feta Tzatziki Sauce Bun 1. Combine the ground turkey, Tiger Sauce, poultry seasoning, parsley, salt and pepper, then form into 4 patties. I must say, the Tiger Sauce is the secret ingredient in all the burgers at my house! 2. Heat the canola oil in a cast iron skillet on medium high heat, then carefully add your burgers. 3. Continue to cook on medium high until cooked through, about 5 minutes on each side. 4. Dress your burger with the spinach, cranberries, feta, tatziki and bun. Since part of my family is gluten free, a gluten-free bun is all that is needed for this meal to work for everyone. We usually pair with baked sweet potato fries and fresh fruit. This meal is so easy, we often serve it when we have friends over for dinner. It seems to be a crowd pleaser, and is perfect on the grill too. I hope you enjoy this healthy and delicious burger that will transform an ordinary dinner into a Mediterranean retreat.
