10 Fun Toddler Snacks collage2

Now, most of y’all know I have a toddler at home, he is about to turn 2 next month, and for the most part he is a really good eater. My 5 year old on the other hand….don’t get me started. One great thing about having n adventurous toddler, is that he loves trying new foods.  So when I heard about Gerber® Lil’ Beanies, I knew it was something that Everett would likely LOVE! Big shout out to Gerber for sponsoring this post today, and while they have sponsored it, all opinions are my own!

Sometimes when we are on the go or just really busy, we end up giving into snacks that just aren’t that great for us, but when I found out the main ingredient in these Lil’ Beanies, I was shocked. Well, I guess I shouldn’t have been so shocked, their name does have the main ingredient in it – BEANS! They are made from the goodness of navy beans and naturally flavored, Lil’ Beanies is a child-approved snacking option not made with genetically engineered ingredients and has no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives! Finally a snack we can feel good about! But…it had to be put to the test…would Everett love them???!!!

He was totally digging them! He was obsessed with the White Cheddar Broccoli flavor, and he really liked the original too. I am so happy that my Kroger is carrying these, because they are affordable and with 2 grams of protein (9% Daily Value) and 1 gram of fiber per serving, I feel like the Lil’ Beanies snacks are the perfect snack! You can find them in the baby aisle at your local Kroger (other stores have them too!), next to all the other toddler snacks!

Okay, so after you pick up some Lil’ Beanies, I have some other great Toddler Snack ideas for you! There is a handful below, and your kids will LOVE these!

I’m glad to see that Gerber has made a nutritional snack for little ones! I use to buy something similar but from another brand and my kiddo loved them! It’s always a plus in my book when I can feel not guilty when giving a snack and it’s not just an empty calorie snack!
