Hot Dog Chili Bake

This Hot Dog Chili Bake is the perfect game day dish! These crescent-wrapped hot dogs are dunked in chili then covered with your favorite toppings; everyone will devour this dish!


  • 1 package Hebrew National Hot Dogs cut in half
  • 1 can crescent rolls each roll (triangle) cut in half
  • 2 cans vegetarian chili
  • 1 yellow onion chopped and divided
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • mustard for topping if desired


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Taking a crescent roll, roll around the center of the hot dog; repeat for all hot dogs.
  2. Mix 3/4 of the chopped onion with the chili. Pour into baking dish. Place wrapped hot dogs into the chili in the baking dish leaving a little room between them.
  3. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 15 more minutes or until chili is bubbling and the tops of the rolls are lightly browned.  Remove from oven.
  4. Sprinkle green onions and remaining chopped yellow onions over the top. Serve and top with desired toppings such as mustard, ketchup, relish, etc. Enjoy!
