Stay-at-Home Date Night w/Tony’s Pizza & Mocktails!

If you have been following Domestic Superhero lately, you have most likely heard that I’m pregnant! We are expecting our next little boy in July, and we are super excited.  However, sometimes being pregnant, I’d rather stay home than go out on the town.  My husband and I make sure we have at least 2 date-nights per month, because we really value the time that we have together as a couple.  We were a couple for a long time before we had our first son, Austin, and we want to make sure we maintain a healthy relationship with each other, so that we can be a happy family and great role models for Austin (and the new addition, too).  One thing we love doing it just cozying up on the couch with a delicious Tony’s pizza and a movie. However, for this date night we added some fun ‘mocktails’!

When I got home, I preheated my oven and popped Tony’s Pizza in! While it was cooking, my husband and I made our mocktails!  Super simple- just mix your pina colada mix with ice and water (or in our case we used Pineapple/coconut sparkling water-yum!) in a blender, and serve!  It is nice to be able to have a mocktail during pregnancy, because it feels indulgent while still being non-alcoholic.

After 15 minutes, the pizza was ready!

Tony’s Pizza has a new and improved crust and it’s super crispy and delicious. They also top their pizza with real cheese and sauce made with real tomatoes! This is definitely a brand I can get behind!  Let date-night begin!

If you know my husband, you know the one way to his heart is through hot sauce. That’s right, he LOVES hot sauce.  So naturally I topped his pizza with hot sauce and left mine cheesy delicious.

We popped in our DVD, started watching the movie and enjoying our drinks and pizza.  It was seriously the perfect stay-at-home date night!  Yum!

What do you do for stay-at-home date nights? Do you have a favorite recipe or takeout? Movies? Games?

Love the idea of mocktails when you can’t (or don’t want to) have cocktails. What an adorable way to spend an evening together!

Can’t go wrong with Pizza any day for any occasion! Wish the main stream pizza companies would like about those who don’t eat dairy products though!

y’all are too cute!! I love Tony’s pizza too. 🙂 When we have a date night we usually like to leave the house because I’m here all day with my kids. But every once in a while we put the kids to bed early and will order take out and watch a movie.

Date nights are always at home for us. It’s really the only way we can do it with 2 little ones at home, but I really don’t mind. I love a good bunch of snacks and snuggles on the couch!

Your date nights are just like ours – pizza, a drink, and either a movie or we’ll play video games. Sometimes it’s candy and a movie.
