Holiday Happenings!

Between nasty stomach bugs, the holiday's kicking into gear, parties, and work, I have been incredibly busy the last few weeks.  I haven't been updating my blog as much as I would like, but hopefully after the holidays I can get back on track. I have so many fun projects to tackle over the holidays!  I don't post too much about my personal life, but this post is totally personal.  Come see what we have been busy with the last few weeks!

One major event that happened last week....My son turned 2!  He is a full blown toddler and showing us new things everyday.  It's amazing watching him grow.

2!!!

We also went out and cut down our own Christmas tree!  I didn't realize that in Georgia, they don't grow the typical fur trees, and you only have a few to chose from if you are going to cut your own down.

We went with the Leyland Cyprus.  I wasn't sure about it at first, but now that it is all decorated, I love it!

Another positive note about the Leyland Cyprus...the branches are great for decorating for the holidays! I used them to adorn my mantle, and also put together a quick wreath!

To wrap up the last few weeks, my son had a Christmas program at school.  Now, seeing that he just turned 2, his class can't really do much in terms of putting on a production, but it was cute none the less.  They played Christmas music and the kids danced around with different musical instruments.  They had a BLAST.

The event ended with Santa stopping by!  Austin was intrigued from afar, but when it was his turn to sit on Santa's lap, he was not having it.  Eh, at least this will be funny for him to look back on in 20 years!

Oops...

That's about it around here!  What have y'all been up to??

Thanks! I got the invite, but still checking on what we will be doing. We might not even go out because the 30th is our anniversary, so we might opt to go out that night instead.....I will let you know!
