When I first heard about the new Skinnygirl popcorns, I knew I had to try them. Not only do I love cutting calories where I can, but I love popcorn. I started looking into this low calorie popcorn and was really surprised at just how healthy it is. The popcorns have no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners, and no high fructose corn syrup!
You can find it in the popcorn aisle, just look for the red and white box with the cute Skinnygirl! I love their flavor options too- Butter & Sea Salt, or Lime & Salt (my husbands favorite!), because they are unique and flavorful without being overly sweet. My husband and I love to pop some up while we are watching our favorite show, and we know that we aren’t ruining our healthy eating by consuming too many calories and feeling guilty.
Since the popcorn has only 25 calories per popped cup, I love throwing some in some snack bags and taking them with me on the go.
I can snack on them in the carpool line or while I am grocery shopping. I hate grocery shopping hungry because I always find myself buying extra food that just looks good, but that we don’t really need.
By fixing my portions and planning ahead, I find it a lot easier to stick to my healthy eating plan. With just having a baby 2 months ago, I am still trying to get the baby weight off, and a healthy, low calorie snack like Skinnygirl Popcorn really helps me stay on track to meet my goals!
