Healthy Breakfast Ideas

Most of y'all know that over the last year I've lost about 40lbs...well, actually, I haven't really shared that on Domestic Superhero, but if you watch my Live Shows on Facebook, then you know that. I started out being more mindful of what I was eating, and then started working out. One thing I incorporated as a nice snack or part of my breakfast were VitaTops, because they are super delicious, seem indulgent, but are less than 150 calories!

I find my VitaTops at Publix, but you can also find them at Kroger, Stop & Shop, Shop-Rite, or Target locations. I love VitaTops as an accompaniment to my usual breakfast because it feels like I am having a dessert with my breakfast, but it's actually healthy!  All the deliciously indulgent VitaTops MuffinTops use only clean and simple ingredients, and offer a wide range of nutritional benefits! They are also organic, protein rich, and gluten free...most importantly, they taste so good!

In the morning I like to cook up an egg or two (depends if I am going to a workout shortly after breakfast), have my favorite coffee with some frothed milk, and then of course my VitaTop. I love the blueberry VitaTops, but there are also other flavors as well: Deep Chocolate, Superfood CranBran, Protein Banana Chocolate Chip, and Protein Lovers Chocolate Peanut Butter.

The VitaTops are healthy while feeling indulgent, and they have really helped me stay on track in terms of not splurging and blowing my healthy lifestyle. I definitely recommend you look up where you can find them and try them out for yourself!

Sometimes I even throw one into my gym bag, and snack on it before I workout or after. I know it defrosts pretty quickly, so I don't even have to worry about warming it up in that case! I love how versatile they are!
