How to make Air Fryer Green Beans:
**scroll all the way down for full ingredient list and step by step printable directions**
- Prep the green beans so they are rinsed and dried. Cut off any funky looking ends.
- Make an assembly line: setup whisked eggs in a shallow bowl, and the breadcrumb coating in another shallow bowl.
- Taking a handful of green beans at a time, drop into the eggs and toss around until coated. Using tongs, lift a few of the green beans out, let them drip a bit, then place into the breadcrumb coating mixture. Shake the green beans around until the are fully coated. Place them side by side with a little space in the air fryer, then repeat for the rest of the green beans.
- Set the Air Fryer for 5 minutes and 400 degrees. When 5 minutes is up, carefully toss the green beans around, flipping if needed, then cook for 2 more minutes.
- Serve with your favorite sauce such as BIG MAC SAUCE or COPYCAT ZAX SAUCE!

"Taking a handful of green beans at a time, drop into the eggs and toss around until coated. Using thongs, lift a few of the green beans out, let them drip a bit"
Wasnt sure if I should use clean or dirty thongs! 🙂
Allyson
Hahahaha gotta love autocorrect!!!
Nikki
I’m going to try this tonight! You don’t have to publish my comment but I wanted to point out your instructions say to use “thongs” instead of “tongs” twice. Lol. Might want to fix that. 😉

I first have to say that it is SO FRUSTRATING when you head to read reviews before making something, only to see a ton of 5 star reviews... from people that haven't even made the recipe yet, just saying things like "these look so good, can't wait to try them!" Why in the world is this a thing? Like most people, when I'm looking for recipes reviews, I want to know how the recipe actually worked out. Sigh. Sorry, I really felt that NEEDED to be said. Now, having ACTUALLY made these tonight, I will say that they were very easy to make, and tasted quite delicious. I DID have trouble getting the breading to actually stick to the green beans, so they were mostly just plain old roasted green beans when they were done. But still good! Will make again.
Megan
I was feeling the same exact way and when I started reading your post I was like here we go again another one but I’m so happy to have read yours and that you actually tried the recipe.
Kara
I couldn't find whole wheat bread crumbs, so I just used regular. My kids gobbled them up like fries, and that's a win in my book!!
