It’s been 9 weeks since we started hosting these weekly link parties, and I am so happy I decided to do this. I have found so many awesome blogs, and learned lots of new things. I love looking through the links from the current week, pinning things I’d love to try, and seeing all the creative ideas.
For those of you who are new around here, I do a link party every Thursday when other bloggers can contribute things they have been working on recently. Anything from DIY projects to recipes, nothing is off limits! Even if you don’t have a blog, this is a great way to find other interesting blogs and projects you might find interesting. Every week I will feature the most popular posts from the previous week, and maybe throw in a few of my favorites as well.
If you are a blogger (if you aren’t a blogger, just skip over this!) who is new to the link party scene, it’s really easy to join in! Simply scroll to the bottom of this post, find the blue box to add a link, and then follow the prompts. You paste in the link to your specific post, the title of the specific post, and then your email address (which will not be displayed!). After that you are taken to a second screen where you will select an icon photo to represent that post. Crop it, then hit submit! Presto! You are done, and now linked up!
Ok, here we go with week #9!
First up is this creative upcycle of old Oatmeal Containers! Check out The Shandy Porch to see what you can make with these bad boys! Such a great way to re-use and recycle!
Next, check out this really awesome DIY Rosebud bracelet which is made from….an old t-shirt!!! This is a great tutorial from 3 Peppers Recipes, she makes it so simple to follow along!
These Cappuccino Rice Crispie Treats mix 2 of my favorite things, Rice Krispie Treats and Cappuccino….how could this be anything but delicious. Beth at The First Year Blog is sharing this awesome recipe!
Are you a blogger? Did you know that commenting on other blogs can increase your bac links? Don’t know what this means? Check out The Pursuit of a Functional Home to get on the ball with this!
Have you ever had a lychee fruit? It’s really funky and has a very unique flavor. I have only had it in drinks before, so I am really intrigued to try these Sweet Lychee Rolls from Kreative Creationz
Over at David+Jen=Max, Jen hosted a Pinterest Party for her friends! Someone at her party even used by Spring Burlap Wreath Tutorial to make her own wreath! Check out their fun projects (and tasty treats)!
Thanks for everyone for linking up! If you have been featured above, please grab a ‘featured’ button from the right sidebar!
Okay, now for this week’s link party!
Here are the ‘rules’
- Please follow Domestic Superhero either by email (subscribe on the right side), on Facebook, Twitter, or on Pinterest (or all 3!). I will follow back as well!
- Please place my ‘Sharing With’ button (from the right sidebar) somewhere on your blog- on a Link party page, the actual post, a sidebar-wherever! If you want me to add your button to my page, leave a note in the comments section.
- Please link any project…DIY, recipes, crafts, tips, tricks….the more the merrier!
- Visit a few other links to check out what others are posting! Everyone loves comments so don’t be shy when you visit!
Also, I’d love your help in growing my link party! I would be so happy if you shared a link on facebook or made a shout out on twitter!
I can’t wait to see what has been keeping y’all busy!
